Let me talk a little about this new series “Maybe in the next world…”. Over the past two years, I’ve made a lot of music with friends from different parts of the world, and through this series, I’m going to release those collaborations alongside some solo music.

Every time I make music with friends, I find myself going back to my roots, emo, screamo, and hardcore. For this series, I wanted to bring back that DIY spirit as much as possible. That’s why I’m releasing the music in physical formats like cassettes and vinyl, in a way that feels personal, handmade, and close to the communities that shaped me.

And I’m so happy to finally share the songs I made with Frost and Panic Pat in 2024 and 2025. I’ve been a huge fan of both of them ever since my friend showed me their music in 2024, especially “Panic at the Afters” by Pat and Frost.

I made the instrumental for “Unimaginable” in December 2024 while imagining Pat spitting over the beat. After working with Frost on the “Broken Remix” in early 2025, I shared the “Unimaginable” instrumental with him. He told me he could send it to someone if I had anyone in mind, and I immediately said I wanted Pat on it. Frost sent it to Pat right away, and a week later Pat sent back his vocals.

I made “Broken VIP” using Pat’s vocals and elements from Frost’s “Broken Remix” for the biggest live set I played in November 2025. When I played it live, people seemed to really enjoy it, and that made me feel like we got it right.

We’d wanted to release these songs for a long time, and I kept thinking about how to make it feel special. When I came up with the idea for the “Maybe in the next world…” series, I knew “Unimaginable” and “Broken VIP” had to be the first release.
