Been wanting to post all the cute autos I come across every day on my commute to work. These were just some of the ones I sat in a while back, and I totally forgot I had them sitting in my gallery. Honestly, I’ve never seen cuter autos anywhere else. The level of customization and detailing Keralites do to their autos is insane, each one has a personality of its own.
Hope to document more of the patterns and designs in the coming days.

Well, I’ve never really been one for enjoying the rain. I dread stepping out when it’s pouring. I mean, I’m not a hater. I do enjoy the rain, but only when I’m not the one the droplets are falling on.
So, how do you deal with moving to a city where it rains for almost half the year?
You slowly learn to embrace it.
In fact, yesterday was the first time in years (if I don’t count that one time last month when I stepped out for all of ten minutes and forgot to carry my umbrella because, well, what could possibly happen in ten minutes? Turns out, quite a bit. I ended up getting sick).
But yesterday was different.
I spent the entire day gallivanting around the city while it poured nonstop, and for the first time in a really, really long time, I was perfectly okay being at the mercy of the rain gods in my flimsy little raincoat. taken in Kochi by @panicpurii.v2

Being a food enthusiast, I genuinely don’t think I can ever fully explain the feeling of sharing food with people you admire. There’s something oddly intimate about it. Out of all the things in the world you could possibly be doing, there you are, sitting across from each other, experiencing the same flavours, forcing one another to take bites ott your plates, passionately critiquing dishes like self proclaimed Michelin chefs and somehow turning an ordinary meal into a memory.

But over time, I’ve realised that half the time, it’s not even about the food itself. It’s about the conversations in between bites, the random bursts of laughter, the “wait, you HAVE to try this, the quiet comfort of reaching across the table without hesitation. Somehow, those little moments stay with you far longer than the actual taste ever does.

Food has this strange way of bringing people closer. A meal can turn strangers into friends and friends into people you carry in your heart forever.
Maybe that’s why I romanticise food so much, because every truly memorable meal I’ve ever had was never just about what was on the table, but about who I was sharing it with.

Something shared really is something remembered. And I think that’s why some tables, some meals stay with us forever, because, it was never really about the food. It was always about the moments shared around it.
