A breathtaking legacy of the Rashtrakuta dynasty, Witnessing the architectural marvel of Cave 16—the Kailasha Temple, tribute to Lord Shiva.
One of the greatest monolithic structures in the world, standing proud at Ellora since the 8th century.carved entirely out of a single massive basalt cliffside. by @pankjzz

The Ajanta Caves stand as a monumental testament to the devotion and artistry of ancient India. Carved entirely by hand across centuries, the sanctuary first took shape during the Satavahana dynasty in the second century BCE as a retreat for monks of the early Buddhist tradition, yielding solemn prayer halls and monastic cells hewn straight from the living rock. After centuries of quiet seclusion, the site witnessed a magnificent renaissance in the fifth century CE under the patronage of the Vakataka empire, when vibrant murals of the Buddha and the Jataka tales bloomed across the cavern walls. As political fortunes shifted and the Buddhist faith waned in the region, the jungle slowly reclaimed the monastic halls, plunging them into obscurity for ages until a British cavalry officer fortuitously stumbled upon their stone facade in 1819, returning a lost chapter of human history to the world. by @pankjzz

मैं तुम और वो सब.... by @pankjzz

Confession:- I have succumbed to these mindsets on my travels too only to realize that travelling is not a checklist, not a social media status, not something to do just for the Instagram. its privilege that allow us to experience a world different from ours so how can we do it without awareness of how it impacts that world different from ours.
