Chef Mariano Cebrián of @panoramasados brings the tradition of Argentine open-fire cooking to private events across the Hamptons. In this video, he shows us how he prepares soft-shell crabs.

For Mariano, asado is about far more than the food. It is about slowing down, gathering around the fire, and creating the kind of meal that brings people together.

“While everyone is impressed by the fires roaring and meats sizzling, what really makes the experience memorable is the environment we aim to create. Asado is more than just a cookout. It’s about human connection. It’s about slowing down, ignoring clocks and phones, and taking in the smells and tastes while really engaging and connecting with those around you.”

Once in a while, you have one of those nights in life that cement joy in your memory for eternity. We have such a wonderful community of people here. We are beyond lucky to have you folks as friends! You incredible eclectic brilliant soulful fascinating people!! I love you all so much. We love you all so much! I would tag each one of you, (which I pretty much did in stories already), but Insta has its limits. There were no limits to appetite, celebration, love & all those wonderful things last evening, though! Thank you to everyone who warmed our new home. Thank you for the bounty of gifts, but especially the real gift of your energy & presence in our lives. Spectacular. This rehearsal dinner was so important to us because of Chef Mariano’s personal relationship with the groom and family, and Jill made it her mission to celebrate this alongside us. Warm and hospitable, incredibly detail-oriented with a keen vision for relaxed elegance, Jill and her team made bringing our Asado Experience to a larger than life scale effortless.

Jill Gordon Celebrate has been in business for 31 years and produces elevated wedding weekends for couples in the Hamptons; from Southampton to Montauk, Sag Harbor to Shelter Island on up to the North Fork. Their focus is hospitality first along with fabulous design, flawless logistics and a seamless (and fun!) planning process.
