My code for the Japan Parade!!! There was a lot of love and reminiscing that went into styling this: I wanted to exemplify my ultimate wardrobe goals for this outfit, while also bringing in aspects of different Jfashion styles that have been important to me throughout my fashion journey💕The general silhouette and motif was inspired by 6%dokidoki’s shop girls throughout the late 00’s to mid 10’s. They encapsulate what initially drew me to, and still draws me to kawaii fashion. My goal is to have a wardrobe that really reflects those styling choices; I’d be over the moon to work up to that point! There’s also elements of cyber fashion, pop kei influences, some hairstyling cues from Kurebayashi (another kawaii idol of mine, I love her dyed undercuts!), and gyaru! Gyaru is something I’ve found more recently in my fashion journey, but it has brought me pure joy and has widened my perception of myself tenfold🥹As long as I have breath in my body, I’ll always be a kawaii gal in every sense💖💖💖💖💖I’m also honored to be wearing pieces from brands that inspire my Jfashion, as well as my diy cyberfalls! This was truly a power outfit, and I’m happy that not only people saw it in the parade, but you get to see it here now too!
