Dallas has been the meeting place for generations of Panthers and Tigers, and every year this matchup brings its own story.

The names change. The uniforms evolve. The stakes shift. But when PV and Grambling meet, history is always in the building.

This one feels like another chapter worth watching closely.

Panthers. Tigers. What’s your call?

🚨 PV ALUMNI HAVE SPOKEN: IT’S TIME TO ADDRESS THE GAMEDAY EXPERIENCE! 💜💛

Tailgate pricing. Parking. Staff courtesy. These are more than small complaints—they directly impact the experience of the people who continue to show up and support Prairie View A&M. @pvamu

For non-big games, would a half-price tailgate option make more sense and encourage more alumni and fans to participate? Sometimes getting more people through the gate at a reasonable price can create a better atmosphere AND generate more sales.

And then there’s staff interaction. Nobody should leave a PV game feeling disrespected or unwelcome. If alumni are raising concerns about how they’re being treated, maybe it’s time for an open conversation between the administration, game-day staff, and the people who support this university year after year.

💬 This isn’t about complaining—it’s about making PV Gameday better.

What do YOU think Prairie View A&M could do differently to improve the tailgate and overall game-day experience?

🐾💜 GREEK NIGHT AT PVAMU! LET’S SHOW UP AS ONE! 💜🐾

This Saturday night at 7 PM, Prairie View A&M @pvamu takes on SFA—and it’s Greek Night! 🎓🏈

So whether you’re an Alpha, Kappa, Sigma, Que, Iota, AKA, Delta, Zeta or part of any other Greek organization, pull out your Greek paraphernalia and REPRESENT! 🏛️🔥

And it doesn’t stop with Greek organizations. Groups, cliques, alumni chapters, friend groups—everybody! 👕 If y’all have matching shirts, WEAR THEM! Let’s turn the tailgate and stadium into a sea of unity, school pride, and family.

And listen… if you bring me a shirt, I’ll wear it! 😂💜 I don’t care what group you’re with. That’s what family is about.

Most importantly, don’t just see me and keep walking! 😂 Come say HELLO. Come give me a hug. Come take a picture. Come fellowship. The tailgate is about more than football—it’s about the people, the relationships, and the PVAMU family.

Saturday night, let’s make it a FAMILY AFFAIR! 🐾💜🏈

NO. 4 — PRAIRIE VIEW A&M

The record says 1–2. The belief inside Prairie View says something different.

The Baylor game was a tough ask, but Tremaine Jackson’s group has not backed away from the standard. The Panthers are still in this top five because the next part of their schedule gives them a real chance to show who they are. taken in Prairie View A&M University by @pantherview

Rivalry handled.
Reality check received.
Now it’s time to bounce back. 🏈

After taking care of TSU and a tough trip to Waco, the Panthers return home with another challenge waiting….

Stephen F. Austin.

And there’s a little history here, too: the last time these two programs met, PV walked away with a 56–48 win in 2013.

Different year. Different teams. Same question:

What now?

💜💛 PRAIRIE VIEW A&M KEPT BAYLOR UNDER THEIR AVERAGE! 💜💛

This was about more than the scoreboard — this was about COMPETING, BELIEVING, and REPRESENTING THE HILL! 🐾

Prairie View A&M put together an impressive performance against Baylor, keeping the Bears under their averages across the board and holding them to 34 points at halftime — something the overwhelming majority of HBCU teams have not been able to do.

That deserves recognition. 👏🏾

🏈 Proud of our football team
🧠 Proud of our coaching staff
💜💛 Proud to be Prairie View A&M!

The journey continues. SFA is next! Let’s keep building, keep competing, and keep making The Hill proud!

04 — Prairie View A&M 🟣

“Rivalry? What rivalry?”

Prairie View A&M made one of the loudest statements of the weekend, dismantling Texas Southern 52–14 in the Labor Day Classic.

Tevin Carter accounted for five touchdowns, and the Panthers dominated from the opening kick.

Now Prairie View moves to No. 4 — with Baylor waiting next.
