LJ got the opportunity to get a little taste of the Friday night lights from the band side of things. The @ridgepointband invited 8th grade students from the local middle schools to take part playing with them! This definitely brought back the memories of my Friday nights playing the same instrument! Thanks to @thundercatband for giving these kids the opportunity! Don’t know if this is what he wants to do next year but at least he had a little taste. Heck I even had to go back and watch those YouTube videos of my marching days! taken in Hall Stadium... by @pantoja82

Late post… but last weekend I had the opportunity to coach LJ and his boys from school in a baseball tournament. Since there is no middle school baseball this tournament allows the boys to represent their middle school and play against other middle schools throughout the city. Our team had representation of a few select organizations. Eventually these boys will be playing for Ridge Point. It was a blast coaching these boys and listening to the things they talked about! I hope that they have a great year in school and have a great football season as the majority of them play 8th grade football! #MSM #ThorntonMSBaseball taken in Pecan Park Baseball Fields by @pantoja82

Not a bad way to spend my 44… started the morning with a little breakfast, then headed over Daikin Park to watch the @astros take care of the Brewers. Hanging out with my son and his friends. Let’s see what we get into tomorrow. Definitely appreciate the calls and messages. taken in Daikin Park by @pantoja82

Great evening to watch our Stros get their 1st win of the season. Was able to get there early enough to catch batting practice and to meet @agswin . I had 2 things on my todo list and that was to catch a ball and to meet Mr. Nguyen. Catching a ball barehanded does hurt just ask @pantoja82 and it came home with us. Was getting a little worried but they fought till the last pitch. Great Win! @pantoja82 #fathersontime taken in Daikin Park by @pantoja82
