Every season of my life has had a soundtrack. Lately, I’ve realized that becoming a better artist isn’t just about making music; it’s about understanding sound, understanding myself, and honoring where I come from 🇩🇴📚 Books currently shaping my journey:🎵 This Is What It Sounds Like. This book is teaching me to listen more intentionally and understand why music moves us so deeply.🏔️ The Mountain Is You. A reminder that the biggest breakthroughs often come after facing the obstacles within ourselves.🇩🇴 Merengue Contemporáneo. It’s helping me reconnect with my Dominican roots and inspiring me to celebrate the rhythms, history, and culture that have always been part of who I am.I am enjoying the journey as I realize that music is more than entertainment. Mi hijo, mi atleta, mi chef favorito. Estamos tan orgullosos de ti…A mi Robert le gusta la escritura, la poesía, los deportes y la cocina. Desde pequeño le gustaba escribir historias en su diario. Siempre ha tenido un talento para la narración y un sentido del humor que me encantan. Hoy día es un joven amante de los deportes, la nutrición y la salud. Sabía que mi mejor regalo para ti como madre era ayudarte a desarrollar una voz propia que te permitiera expresar tus sentimientos y tus deseos para poder guiarte con amor. A la vez que ser tu madre me ha enseñado a tener el corazón abierto todo el tiempo. Es sentir que alguien me mira con admiración, comparte sus dudas y me pide que lo escuché con paciencia. Mi bisabuelo Juan Matos fue un gran visionario y líder natural. De pequeña escuchaba el cariño con el que mi mama se refería a el y como lo extrañaba. Que alegría 🥹 que recientemente ella pudiera participar del evento donde honran los aportes de mi bisabuelo y memorializan su legado en el pueblo de Mella, Provincia Duverge (Sur Profundo). Mi bisabuelo diseño el planeamiento urbano del pueblo, trazando calles, designando terrenos para espacios públicos y viviendas particulares. Era un gran líder político y humanista. Me preguntaba porque de pequeña siempre me gustaban los proyectos urbanistas, los parques, las librerías y los servicios sociales. Sin planearlo termine estudiando planificación urbana y liderazgo en mi post-grado. No fue hasta este día cuando se celebró este honor para mi bisabuelo que me di cuenta de la oportunidad de cerrar un ciclo en mi familia. Mi abuelo nunca obtuvo un título universitario ni lo necesito para poder hacer las cosas bien. Yo si he tenido esa oportunidad. Así que mi título y mis premios también te los dedicó a ti, querido bisabuelo, Juan Matos ❤️ Gracias 🙏🏾 por ser un hombre de bien y un gran padre para much@s. by @paolamarmusica

Como apoya Dios nuestra fuerza creativa? Hace un año me plantee la meta de visitar Samana para ver las ballenas 🐋 jorobadas. Quería compartir esta experiencia con mi hijo y mi familia. Poder vivir ese momento tan especial llena mi corazón de tanta emoción. Solo le puedo atribuir a Dios esa bendición. Como algo tan sencillo puede traer tanta alegría? Tomar una decisión, encaminarse hacia ella dejando que Dios organize nuestros pasos es la mayor satisfaccion. Me quedó con una sensación de alegría que recarga mi fuerza creativa y mi espíritu.
