Earlier today @boots.r.us.89 @jackrossetto & @nolan.killeen competed at the @openjiujitsu 2024 event and walked away with three gold medals as a team. Immensely proud of the guys, tons to work on, but knowing we have such a strong team @omertabjj knowing the work we all put in, and way we all support one another confirms we’re all on the right track. Upward and onward, back to the lab, no excuses, just improve. by @papakosh

Fortunate enough to have a number of guys at @omertabjj compete today @nextgenjiujitsu in Woodbridge. Unbelievably impressed with how everyone competed. Everyone learned, everyone displayed something to be immensely proud of. Medals aside the progress and rewards everyone on these mats have been able to reap have made @alexpateh @boots.r.us.89 and myself so proud as coaches.

From a gymnasium in Ottawa, to countless chit chats and deep talks on the sport we love, all the way to one of the most amazing trips I’ve ever had, 9000km from home. I owe @smashpassjay so much. For giving me the opportunity to judge (last minute mind you) to a job that’s helped me meet my heroes, made lifelong friends and people who I’d go to battle for. Thank you so much for everything. I appreciate you more than I could put into words. You deserve all the appreciation you get in this sport, and then some. Love you brother. Can’t wait to see you again 🤙🏼
