Introducing to you @paparuaa hailing from County Meath as a ginger with the deepest soul. Writing songs about finding hope, about love and about the inner workings of the heart. He draws inspiration from Neo-soul, folk, jazz, hip hop, shoegaze and skiffle.

So much excitement around him this year, having dropped 3 singles with his partner in music from France Blanka.

He’s got so much more to come and we look forward to watching him perform some of these bangers on the National Concert Hall stage, on the 12th of October from 6:30pm.

Tickets are available NOW in the link in our bio 🌳

🇮🇪🎶Dreamy with Nao Yoshioka & Papa Rua is out today 😌🎶
What a journey! I was so lucky to meet those talented people all around the world. This song is about the fact that if you believe in your dreams hard enought, they can sometimes become true.
🇫🇷 🎶Dreamy with Nao Yoshioka & Papa Rua est disponible😌🎶Quel voyage! J ai eu tellement de chance de rencontrer ces gens partout dans le monde. Cette chanson parle du fait que si on croit assez fort en ses rêves, ils peuvent parfois devenir réalité. #japan #ireland #neosoul #singer taken in Tokyo, Japan by @paparuaa

Someone told me recently Turtle Soup has a Portuguese feeling to it which is mad because I used to surf a lot in Portugal and we would be plotting taking over the scene with the songs we had in our back pockets.

White horses absorb you carry me home again haha I wrote that line after getting absolutely washed up and spat back out and it was extremely humbling. If you know you know Praia de Cerro on a big winters day. taken in Peniche, Portugal by @paparuaa

Turtle Soup is out now, link in bio

It was one of those ones that I wrote and changed and changed again but never really found a place for it.

Late last year me and @blanka_lfe were finishing up my album and he asked me if we could do one more acoustic song to add to it , something different from the rest of what we’d done. I dedicate this song to Sean Doran who was one of the first people who knew all the words to my songs and was my first friend we always joked about the day I’d write a song about him and here we are isn’t it mad.
