Okay, I don’t know how it happened, but I somehow convinced y’all to follow this semi-consistent account. Figured I should just pop on your feed and say “hiiii you” 👋🏽 (yes you), this is the face connected to the hands you’ve seen here and there (in case we never met in person before).

My name is Tammy, and I’m posting from Northern California. I’m terrible at following people back, so if I haven’t followed you yet, please leave a comment with your name, and if you have a hobby outside of journaling/stationery collecting/snail mail. It’s okay if you don’t, because I don’t, hahaha. Unless napping is a hobby?

If you made it this far in reading this caption, thank you for hyping me up, and being a part of this welcoming, lovely community of journaling. I know I’m privileged to have this downtime to do such hobbies that help me relieve stress. I hope someday this mundane luxury will be available for all. But until then, keep being informed, don’t take anything for granted, and be kind to yourself.

2026 Journal Roll Call! First up, my Traveler’s which is used for my scrapbook style memory keeping. I usually keep my insert outside of the cover when working on it. Does anyone else?

Next is my OURS journal which holds my weekly spreads. This is my most consistent journal, and I love seeing the seasons change over the months.

This Stalogy notebook is the forever home of my “junk”. This girl comes with me to most craft club meet-ups and café journal sessions. She is a brick (house) and I love that for her.

And new to 2026 is my Travelers passport size. Inside is where I have my vision board fold out (yet to be photographed) and a cafe/craft club log. I also have a sticker release insert because you never know if you need to place a label or sticker found in the wild in there. This girlie has traveled the most out of the 4, in terms of mileage ✈️. I absolutely adore the charm by the ever talented @oddrabbitshop. by @papeletammy

My junk journal’s agent called to tell me that their client (my junk journal) was upset because she doesn’t have enough representation in my grid. So here, photos of some recent spreads. by @papeletammy

As promised, here’s that journal-with-me style video. The last time I made one was a year ago 😬. This time it’s of the journal spreads that document my amazing time at @artclubsacramento’s inaugural The Great Create event. I was inspired by the icons @visualconversations created for the event visuals, so much so, that I made a sticker sheet out of it! I still have yet to write the memories down, but that’s not very fun to watch, especially since I don’t have outstanding handwriting or anything. But yeah, let me know if you’d like me to do this more often than yearly 😜. And sadly, I couldn’t film with audio becauuuuse the husband was watching his footballs team lose, so you might know how that sounds in the background. by @papeletammy

It’s still so hot out, hoping the fall weather rolls in soooon. 🤞🏽 But in the meantime, I’m still working on adding more summer pages to my Traveler’s. This one is from my trip to Petaluma to check out @shopjournal.land and go to the Miffy themed junk journal session hosted by @707journalclub. I don’t think I’ve been in that area before, so it was nice exploring and eating all the seafood. 🦪 On the way back, I was able to stop at @goodgrayshop, who uses carbon copy invoice forms, so you know I had to add it to the journal 😜. I have it folded and pasted, then as you unfold it, you can see what I bought and how much the total was. by @papeletammy

Sharing more little snapshots of my OURS journal. If you’ve ever mailed me samples (thank you), or if I’ve ordered from your shop and you include freebies (thank you again), they’ll most likely end up on these pages, because I tend to grab from my stash of those. Unlike my Travelers where I go through my entire collection to find the best stationery to accompany my ephemera, these weekly spreads are supposed to be quick and loose, just using what I come across on my desk. And if I’m feeling fancy I stamp here and there 🤭. by @papeletammy

The @ours.tw 2027 record journal was announced today! So I wanted to share a couple of my favorite spreads from June. I use mine as a weekly, recording what I had done for that week in pictures, adorned with stickers and stamps, of course. I always love flipping through the months to see all the things I’ve done so far in the year. Planning on ordering another and it’ll be my third year using it! Are you gonna join the OURS bandwagon this year? by @papeletammy

Summer came and went! I know California’s summers last until mid-October, but still. Even though I didn’t have any grandiose summer travel plans, I did do a lot of Miffy-maxing thanks to @707journalclub and @paperpicnicclub hosting such fun events. Been enjoying filling out my passport size TN, it’s so much quicker too. by @papeletammy

I was only in LA back in June for a day and a half, but I collected enough paper goodness to fill these spreads to the brim (so to speak)! It’s funny how each time I visit, things change but also feel the same. I can’t believe next year I’ll be living in Sacramento twice as long as I did in the East LA area. In my early to mid 20s when I lived there, I was a shy little introverted indoor kid. I guess in a way I still am, I just have found a community worth coming out of my shell for. As much as I miss my life down there, I was able to build my life in Sactown how I wanted and I don’t take it for granted. And now we’ll be getting our first proper stationery store in a little over a week! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 by @papeletammy

Aaaah! I can’t believe in two weeks, I’ll be heading to SoCal to see my boys one last time. Here are my journal spreads of the Vegas shows, I was there for D1 and D2. I had an “Army Grandmother” (fairy grandmother 🧚‍♀️), who is the ever so cool and quite the jetsetter, @bons.cy. I am so lucky my cousin brought us together, and I hope to be her when I grow up (pretty sure she’s younger than me 🤣).

BTS has been my source of comfort since the pandemic (2020 Army!), and through many hard spots in my life, they helped me through some really tough ones. Whether it be with their music, their hilarious variety show, “Run BTS”, the immense backlog of livestreams and interviews, etc, I found respite in them. They mean more to me than just a silly k-pop boy band, and I’m glad they’ve reunited for the time being. And if you can’t tell, my bias is 🐻 Taehyung.

Taurus babe here, so I spent the days around my birthday indulging in things I love, hanging with friends, eating sweets and buying some fun things (like the Nyota plushie). by @papeletammy

Sooooooo, it has been one hot minute since I shared my junk journal pages over here. My journal is no longer ignored and is quite the star when I take her out to gatherings. I just love not having to think much when I do these spreads and I try to limit myself to just the junk I collect. I also wouldn’t even consider any of these pages “done” because I’m always adding little things here and there. But most of the time I get bored and move on to a new page and that’s why some pages are more sparse than others. And if you watch until the end, my journal performs an ass clap for ya!
