Hi 👋 I’m Santhe ~ the reader behind @paper_heartstrings_ 🥰 I thought I’d share a few things about me!
1. I’ve been married to Mr @paper_heartstrings_ for 16 years and we have one perfect son who is 15 💙
2. I am based in Australia 🇦🇺 ~ I grew up in Broken Hill in Far West NSW. My family still live there, but I moved to Terrigal on the NSW Central Coast 18 years ago so it is home now 🏖️
3. I have been an English teacher for 28 years 😅 I mostly love it 🤭
4. I have one boy cat named Oreo who is very spoilt 🐈‍⬛
5. I LOVE Taylor Swift and was lucky enough to see her in 2024 in Sydney for The Eras Tour 🎶
6. My favourite food is chocolate 🍫
7. My go-to genres are romance and crime ~ but if I had to pick, I’d say I’m currently in my romance era 💕

🧬🩷📖 Book review ~ The Love Hypothesis by @alihazelwood
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hook: Olive needs to convince her bestie to date her ex. The easiest way to do that? Fake dating, of course. What starts as one kiss quickly turns into something neither of them expected…

My thoughts: I picked this one up because the @primevideoaunz movie has just dropped, and I wanted to read the book before watching the screen adaptation so I could compare the two.

There was lots to love about this! I really enjoyed the female characters and the representation of women in STEM. I’m also a sucker for a slow burn, and the chemistry between Olive and Adam definitely kept me reading.

That said, I would’ve loved a dual POV so we could get more insight into what Adam was thinking. I also found Olive a little frustrating at times, especially with how much she overthought and worried about everything.

Overall, this was a fun, light-hearted romance with plenty of STEM, fake dating and slow-burn tension. Now I’m curious to see how the movie compares. 4 stars 🌟 #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #read #romance #booktoscreen by @paper_heartstrings_
