I’m usually very good about being patient. I can make an exception, right?

Picking up a fountain pen after 30+ years has been super fun so far. I hemmed and hawed over how I wanted to structure this journal. I decided that my goal was just to have a visible collection of my thoughts and feelings about the hobby, things I learn, and my belongings and the stories behind them.

With that in mind, I decided on a volume series, rather than annual notebooks or a systematized binder. Then the bitch in my head won’t get deeply rooted in some sort of imaginary rule, like having to start a new notebook in the new year even if I’m not done with this one, or going bananas trying to keep things in color or alphabetical order. (I’ll do that somewhere else, thank you. 😂🍌) I’m looking forward to documenting my experiences, learnings, and acquisitions as I explore this new old love. 💕
