Tomorrow is a big day! Aside from the in-store Hobonichi ONE PIECE launch and restock, the tea-themed Pilot Metropolitan Chanomegumi pens will also be making their debut.

These fountain and ballpoint pens are made by @pilotpenusa in collaboration with beloved tea company @itoen. The series is inspired by the beauty and culture of Japanese tea. Much like the teas themselves, the Light Green, Dark Green, and Roasted Tea Brown pens each have their own unique texture and finish that can only be appreciated in person.

The Paper Mouse will be one of a very limited number of stores in the US that will be launching these pens this month. At this time, they will be available in-store only. Come and get one (or all three) at our shop in West Newton starting 11am on Thursday, 10/15. taken in The Paper Mouse by @papermouseshop

Restocked today! Our Moonlit Voyage @opus88writing Mini pen and Moonlit Voyage and Flowing Friendship inks by @ink.institute.tw are now available for purchase.

“Where’s the Cozy Nook ink?” you may ask. Once again, the theme of the year continues: it’s stuck in Customs. 🫠

We hope to receive the non-preorder Cozy Nook inks soon, but don’t have an estimated arrival date yet. In the meantime, stock up on the other two colors, or pick up a Moonlit Voyage pen!

As of tonight, all ink preorders have now shipped. Please check your emails for a shipping notification. We’re wishing the packages a safe and speedy journey to their destinations!

Inks and pen are available at thepapermouse.com, and in-store at our West Newton shop. taken in The Paper Mouse by @papermouseshop

Finally, we have some news about the TRAVELER'S notebook 2027 DIARY! The 2027 collection of planners, stickers, folders, and plastic sheets will be available in-store on October 19.

Before then, everything will be online for preorder starting this Thursday, October 8 at 12pm ET. Preorders will also begin shipping on the official release date of October 19.

This year's theme is "Every TRAVELER'S notebook is unique and that's wonderful." We really enjoy this encouraging outlook, and are eager to take our own TNs out to create memories and search for inspiration soon.

Early next week, we’re also expecting a full restock of the TRAVELER’s notebook starter kits. We’ll have both Regular and Passport covers in Black, Brown, Olive, Blue, and Camel. It's been difficult to keep them in stock this year; we're excited to have a big shipment of them on the way! taken in The Paper Mouse by @papermouseshop

The third installment in @wearingeul_global’s Preface fountain pen series is here. Robinson Crusoe is a vibrant blue pen with pastel greens and teals, and a soft shimmer like the ocean on a sunny day.

As a big upgrade from their previous two pens, Robinson Crusoe comes with two interchangeable nibs, one Fine and one Medium, so you don’t have to choose between them. taken in The Paper Mouse by @papermouseshop

It’s the year of shipping delays. Our Ink Institute inks were dispatched from Taiwan last week, and now, they’re stuck in customs in Memphis, Tennessee. We’re doing everything we can to get the shipment released.

At the moment, it unfortunately looks like the inks will not be shipping this week. We’ll update here as soon as we have more information. taken in The Paper Mouse by @papermouseshop
