Believe it or not, this one is based on a true story! Sometimes life in retail is stranger than #sylvanian fiction.

What's scarier: customers on the hunt for @needohofficial or @papersource corporate H.R.-speak?!

Inspired by true events from workers at @papersource and @barnesandnoble

Support us as we prepare to strike! Link in bio 🎁

Fun fact: Our CEO actually likened himself to Captain Nemo in a memo that went out to the entire company.

Paper Source workers at 3rd/Fairfax just filed another Unfair Labor Practice against our employer and are preparing to strike.

If you are unable to donate to our hardship fund and still want to help out, call customer service and let them know you support what we are fighting for.

Thank you to the community and all our allies. We never take your support for granted.

Big shoutout to @sugaredandbronzedunited who organized an informational picket today! 👊 👙

With Labor Day right around the corner, it’s more important ever that we stand up for ourselves and for our allies. Let’s not let corporations normalize sparse hours and starvation wages. FIGHT back against retaliation.

Last bargaining session, the company offered part-time employees “two 5-hr shifts per week” and presented it as a generous proposal. At @papersource allnin-management positions are part-time.

Two shorts shifts a week is not enough to provide workers with stability or consistency.

After numerous acts of retaliation—including demoting our assistant manager 3 weeks after we unionized—it’s time to get serious.

@papersource and @barnesandnoble want customers to see them as friendly neighborhood stores, but they don’t hesitate to retaliate against employees who exercise their legal right to organize for better working conditions ⚔️🐉

Shoutout to our allies who are experiencing daily retaliation from their employers! @sugaredandbronzedunited @wgsunion @sbworkersunited by @papersourceunion

While our CEO tried to scare more stores out of unionizing with his latest memo, it seems like the plan backfired! Congrats @bnmassapequa 🎉

Shoutout to @sugaredandbronzedunited and please check out the petition on their page ✍🏼
