What 2 months of no Daryl Morey does to a team.

The last time the Pennsylvania Legislature last voted to raise the minimum wage was in 2006. It went up $0.10 a few years later with the introduction of a $7.25 national minimum wage. Since then, Bron played basically his entire career. The house passed legislation to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour, Republicans in the senate won’t pass it. The bipartisan issue that brings us all together is hating AI slop 🥰

What’s the big deal with Data Centers? They house the servers that power AI, and there are plans for 70 proposed data centers in PA, even though 74% of Pennsylvanians polled across the board say they would oppose building an AI data center in their community.

AI may seem unavoidable, but it is NOT inevitable. We still have time to let our elected officials know that we do not want Data Centers in our state. You can visit the link in my bio for a form to contact our representatives and let them know you don’t want a data center in your state.

The numbers are the combined values of what each member has bought and sold in a year. The numbers are a general ballpark for each member of congress. In their financial disclosures they’re not required to report the exact value of their trades, but rather disclose the range of where their trades falls into (ie $250,001-500,000). Do you notice something about our minimum wage? It doesn’t change at all. Last time Pennsylvania voted to raise the minimum wage was in 2006, and the last time a wage raise went into effect was in 2010, to be in line with the federal minimum wage. The numbers are the minimum wage at the time of December in whichever year.

It is long overdue for PA to raise the minimum wage. It is impossible to live on $7.25 an hour. Senate Republicans refused to pass a increased (while still low) minimum wage of $15 an hour with the budget.
