Last night, Pastor Chad brought us into a brand new series, all about what Paradigm represents.

John 20 and 21 show us how the Lord can bring transformation to anyone’s life, if we only accept the invitation. These verses show us how Mary Magdalene was transformed from having demons, how Thomas was transformed from doubting his faith, and how Peter was transformed from denying Jesus. Just as God did a new work in each of these people, He can do in you. God is not afraid of our questions or deconstruction, but wants us to find the answers we need in order to be transformed by Him. When you accept God’s forgiveness and a future with Him, then He can use you and give you a mission to advance His kingdom.

Last night, Pastor Chad continued our series in Ephesians, speaking on how we can be made alive spiritually.

Ephesians 2:1-3 shows us that first, we have to understand that we were born spiritually dead. We were dead in our trespasses–what we do, and our sins–what we are. Verses 4-9 then show us that God can make us spiritually alive, saved by grace through faith. From these verses we can see that Jesus died for us because He’s rich in mercy, He loves you, He is kind, and He is gracious. Verse 10 then tells us that God saves us in order to use us. Doing good works is not what save us, but we are saved for good works. The promise of salvation is that we are made new and alive, and that God has prepared good works for you to glorify Him with. How can you glorify Him this week?

Did somebody say it’s Tuesday?! 🥳

Family, we are back in Ephesians tonight, and there is still so much for us to unpack! Pastor Chad is bringing the Word as we continue learning what it looks like to know who we are in Christ and live differently because of it.

God’s Word doesn’t just inform us, it truly transforms us. So let’s come ready to listen, learn, and let truth take root in our lives. 🙏

Another Tuesday, means another night together. See 🫵 at 7PM!

This past week, Pastor Chad continued our series in Ephesians by asking an important question: What do you pray?

Prayer is more than bringing our needs to God, it’s an opportunity to know Him intimately.

In Ephesians 1:15–23, Paul prays for wisdom and revelation so that we may know God more deeply. Paul then prays that the eyes of our hearts would be opened to see the hope of His calling, the riches of His glory, and the greatness of His power. And ultimately, we pray in Jesus’ name, trusting the authority and power found in Him.

May our prayers be more than requests for changed circumstances. May we pray to know God, see Him clearly, and trust fully in Jesus. 🤍

Last night, Pastor Phil took us on a deeper dive into Ephesians 1, and the theology of what it means to be “chosen” by God. There are eternal blessings that come from being an adopted child of God, so what is the scope of those blessings?

We learned that we have been both chosen and changed by God. Some theological beliefs can have differing perspectives on this, but we must simply look to the Word. Even before God created the world, He chose us “in Christ” and placed us “in Him.”However, God has never arbitrarily “chosen” some for salvation while choosing others for damnation. Salvation is still a work of God and not of us– it’s by His grace, and His grace gives us the ability to believe. If you have been saved, you are predestined to be “sanctified”– to be made in to the image of Christ. We cannot be fully accepted by God until we have fully accepted Christ. Have you fully accepted Christ?

We’ll see you next Tuesday, Paradigm!
