"There should be a place for the horses no one wants anymore… somewhere they can just be horses."

That’s what a horse transporter said to us once.

And we replied, “That’s us. They go here.” 💛

At Paradise Dreams, we are that place. A sanctuary where forgotten, discarded, or misunderstood souls get the second chance they deserve. Where they can heal, be loved, and simply be. No expectations, no conditions.

They don’t have to be young, rideable, or "useful." They just have to be. And here, that’s more than enough. 🐴

But this safe haven isn’t possible without you. Every bale of hay, every vet visit, every gentle day of peace... they all exist because of your love and support.

Thank you for helping us be that place. 💖

Fostering means that you are opening your heart and home to an at-risk horse by becoming the primary caregiver until they are adopted. As a foster home, you are playing a critical role at PDAS! Fostering a horse is a special and important way of building a system of support for horses in your community!

By fostering one horse, you are saving multiple lives!
🦄If you’re relatively new to horses, fostering is a great way to learn more about horse care through the guidance and support provided by the PDAS!
🦄If you’re an experienced handler, you can use your skills to give back by helping to train and rehabilitate your fostered horse.
🦄Fostering allows you to make a huge impact on a horse’s life with less commitment than adopting.

And besides all of that, fostering a horse is fun! You will embark on a highly rewarding journey that ultimately ends in saving a life and helping a horse find a loving adoptive home.

👀 THIS is what one week of hay looks like! 😳

It takes over 100 bales of hay every week to feed the horses at Paradise Dreams Animal Sanctuary. Each bale costs between $19–$29, depending on the type of hay.

Please donate, sponsor a bale, or share to help us feed the herds! 🌾🐴💛

🦄 Donate: (LINK IN BIO) https://paradisedreamsanimalsanctuary.com/donate

Sponsor hay for the herd:

🌾 $19 = sponsors 1 bale
🌾 $29 = sponsors 1 premium bale
🌾 $2,725 = sponsors one truck load of hay

Every bale matters. Every dollar helps. Every share gets us closer to filling the hay shed again.

Yesterday, Costa began showing signs of colic, every horse owner's worst fear. We immediately called our vet and took action to get him the care he needed.

Costa is now separated from his herd so we can closely monitor him while he recovers. He also needs special feed and supplements to help support his digestive system.

🌿 Costa's Current Needs:
- Teff Pellets
- Senior Feed
- Bran
- Beet Pulp
- Probios
- Colic Ease

💔 His vet bill has already reached $1,040, and we're facing additional expenses for his recovery.

At Paradise Dreams Animal Sanctuary, our horses are family. Seeing them hurt is heartbreaking, and unexpected emergencies like this put a huge strain on our rescue.

🙏❤️ We're asking our community to rally around Costa! Whether it's $5, $10, or simply sharing this post, EVERY little bit makes a difference!

🐴 Please help us give Costa the care he deserves. We can't do this without you! ❤️

A beautiful way to end the day 😍🐴 Arabelle, Dolce, and Ripley looked spectacular during the golden hour. by @paradisedreamsanctuary

100°+ heat? Neytiri says, “Turn on the hose!” 💦🐴

Nothing beats a little water play when the temperatures climb. She was more than happy to cool off, splash around, and turn hose time into playtime. 😁

Hope everyone is staying safe and finding ways to cool off! We can't wait for this heat wave to be over!
