I recently had the opportunity to write over 250 invitations for Freed-Hardeman University. Their president is being honored for his service when he retires in May. (The name and address on the envelope shown is not real). I used a Diamine fountain pen ink called Syrah from Goulet Pen Company, which perfectly matched the color on the envelopes and was a dream to write with. by @paralethal1

Earlier this month I had the privilege of writing names for gift tags at RSVP Stationers for their holiday event. I designed the tags, then wrote the requested personalization, and RSVP digitally put the two together. It was a busy but fun evening, and the tags turned out so cute! by @paralethal1

I haven’t posted in a long time — Mostly because I forget to take pictures when I finish something. But this time I remembered, so here’s a little modern script in my favorite black and white combo. This lucky couple is getting married in Italy this fall. by @paralethal1

Invitations for a pirate-themed Halloween party on tea-stained (by me) handmade paper (provided by the client). I stamped a red skull and crossbones at the bottom and the invitation was rolled like a map and closed with a red wax seal, then put into a treasure chest and mailed. Super fun! by @paralethal1

Not sure what happened to my previous post- but here it is again. These were invitations to a special 80th birthday party. I love the sparkle of the Finetec gold. by @paralethal1

I love the inside envelope tradition. These pretties were for a wedding last month. (I wish I could remember to take a picture of the outer envelope that doesn’t show the recipient’s address.)🙄 by @paralethal1

Class work from Flourishing Frenzy with Traci @tmtcalligraphy. It was such a fun class. I need more practice, but am pretty happy with how these first pieces turned out. by @paralethal1

My submission for the holiday baking challenge hosted by @inkfurie. I learned a lot while creating this- mostly what DOESN’T work. And I won’t tell you how many drafts I had to do. Besides that- it’s a really good cookie recipe so give it a try!

Tried something new today. The shape of my tree needs a lot of work, but it’s still a cute Pom for my first try. Tutorial by Courtney @flynnknit by @paralethal1
