Big shout to @mikeaguado aka @parallaxmonitor he is the actual dev. I met him on the ZR group with lots of ideas about his apps and he managed to make all my requests work. Some more epic features coming for RED & Nikon too in the near future.

Although I’m not affiliated with the app, I think my input can be of great use for other users.

The first build of ZR control made specifically for Accsoon M7 monitors. Like Parallax these apps support various Nikon and now RED cameras.

Talking with the developer I asked him if I could be the first to try as I don’t want to be constrained by SDI for various reasons.

Testing the first build with support for RED cams is actually quite amazing. The USB Link Adapter is quite slow with RED control app but somehow Mike from Parallax/ ZR control has already done a great job despite the limitations of the RED link adapter.

The M7 pro supports 3G SDI only and Komodo has 12G SDI but whichever SDI monitor you use, the speed of USB is certainly impressive at such an early stage.

He hopes to make more improvements to see if he can make it better so watch this space and I’ll keep you updated.

Once again, a big shoutout to @accsoontech for being bold enough to try something new. You probably didn’t know it but you changed the game with this monitor 🙌🏾
