I picked up “Simple Thinking” by Mukesh Sud without expecting much, but it turned out to be a nice surprise. The book is not about big fancy ideas, it is about small things we already know but forget to use. I liked how the author used real stories instead of boring theory, it made reading easy and fast. Some chapters made me pause and think about how I handle problems in my own life. Nothing felt forced or extra, just plain honest advice. It is short but you can take your time with it. Honestly didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did. It’s short — like an afternoon read — but it hits different because it’s not textbook stuff, it’s real field diary energy. You’re right there with Dr. Rakesh in the villages and hospitals, watching decisions get made with half the information and none of the time.

I might not be wrong if I say that animals can also teach humans. Yes, it’s true that we humans are the best creation of God; we rule the entire world. But sometimes we fail to manage, fail to realize reality, which can be easily reflected in animals’ behavior. Yes, this is an emotional read from a dog’s perspective, but somewhere in between, I feel strongly that it is also a story about humans. They are so similar. We expect to see the emotional side of humans when we read about animals, but no — here we get to see the emotional sides of dogs. The different characters play unique roles and teach us lessons of life through different situations. What a unique, heartfelt book it is. I really appreciate the easy and engaging narration too, which can easily touch any heart. What a great book for dog lovers. Go for it.
