I didn't want to add autocomplete to the game, but I admit it makes cleaning better

This video is about how i added autocomplete to my indie cleaning game about cleaning retro video games.
Whenever i'd play a game like Power Wash Simulator, it'll remove the last few percentages automatically and clean up any little specs of dirt you missed. As i've worked on my game, i've realised that aside from helping making the game look satisfying and clean, it also lets the developer remove any broken or weird errors in dirt generation.

My indie game is made for magpies who like shiny things

This video is about how much shiny rare stuff my little magpie brain has added to my indie cleaning game about restoring retro games.
Rare shiny things I can show of are always really satisfying to find for me, so I've made sure to put as much love and care into adding cool shader effects to the rarer games you can unlock. But I think it can also make for interesting gameplay to help you reach for cooler, shinier things too

How do you get rid of scratches on games?

This video answers a question about removing scratches on old carts in my indie cleaning game. Different in game tools will work on different damage types, and in this case, you need to add polish to the area before you take a qtip or toothbrush to buff out the scratch.

This video is about the launch of my newest shiniest demo for my indie game about cleaning old video games.
I've just pushed the button and am already getting a bunch of lovely bugs to jump on, so expect some nice quality of life updates in the next week. There's 7 games to clean, and it's been tested a bunch to work on the steamdeck too.

Everyone used this button in my game but i'm removing it

This video is about a button which i'd added as a temporary way to rotate objects in my indie game. Pretty much everyone used this button instead of the actual tool to rotate games, so when i removed it the first time, people asked for it back.

Putting my demo up again after taking it down for the final time!

This video is all about the changes i've made after taking my Steam Demo down, and working on it for a few months in secret. One of the biggest complaints was the game felt like it was missing a tutorial, and i've added that, along with oodles of satisfying tactile tools for you to try . How i fixed CDs from solarbeaming players

This video shows how the CDs in my game were causing super bright blinding reflections at some angles, and how i went looking at my shaders and lighting to figure out where the problem lived. I think i've fixed all the big lighting problems now, so you can clean those old games without fear of being flashbanged

I overcomplicated dirt in my cozy cleaning game

In previous videos i've shown off a bunch of different games and all the types of grime that can get into the cracks. But what i haven't told you yet, is that the location of all those stickers and dirt and ink patches are completely unique to your game.
Replayability has been something i'm really interested in, so I use seeds like Minecraft to keen you guessing what you'll see. And with other randomisation like rarity levels and regions, it means you'll have a TON of satisfying cleaning challenges.

Making the qtip in my cleaning game fluffier

A video based on a comment someone left about the qtip tool in my cleaning game. it's been a solid flat mesh for a while and it was finally time to make it as fluffy as a satisfying cleaning game should be. Doubling the amount of games in my cleaning game to 216 because Australia

This video is about how I wanted to add regional versions of games to collect, but it meant i'd be doubling my total games you can find from 108 to 216. For a satisfying, cozy cleaning game I think being able to work on retro games which remind you of games you grew up with is really important. So i'm locked in, and importantly, my Australian PAL carts are also in!
