🌈Basic Information: It's important for kids to know their parents' names, contact details, and home address in case they ever get separated. This helps them feel safe and secure, knowing they can find their way back to their loved ones if needed.

🌈Body Boundaries: Teaching children about body boundaries helps them understand the importance of personal space and consent. They learn to respect their own bodies and the bodies of others, setting the foundation for healthy relationships and boundaries throughout their lives.

🌈Good Hygiene: Instilling good hygiene habits early on is crucial for children's health and well-being. Teaching them to wash their hands regularly, brush their teeth, and bathe properly helps prevent illness and promotes overall cleanliness and self-care.

🌈Social Skills: Developing social skills is essential for children to navigate the world around them and build positive relationships with others. Teaching them basic social skills like sharing, taking turns, and expressing empathy helps them interact with peers and adults in a respectful and cooperative manner.

🌈Open Communication: Encouraging open communication with children creates a safe and supportive environment where they feel comfortable expressing their thoughts, feelings, and concerns. By fostering a culture of openness and trust, parents can strengthen their bond with their children and address any issues or challenges that may arise effectively.

These fundamental lessons lay the groundwork for a child's healthy development and well-being, empowering them to navigate life with confidence and resilience.

I remember my son was just 7 months old when he wanted to use the potty chair.
And this was the cue that made me realise that he was ready for this training.
I don't know if it was too early or not, i just followed his cues.
There were several ups and downs.

We even faced functional constipation and it took a Long time to get cured.

Every child is different.
Don't force things.
Eventually they will learn everything themselves.
But they will never forget how they learnt it.

Happy parenting ❣️

Sometimes, when our child is having a hard time, our first thought is:

“How do I stop this?”

Stop the crying.
Stop the shouting.
Stop the tantrum.
Stop the behaviour.

But what if we paused for a moment and asked:

“Why is this so hard for my child right now?”

A child who is melting down after school might simply be exhausted.

A child who is being unusually clingy might be needing connection.

A child who keeps saying “no” might be struggling with having no control over what happens around them.

And no, this doesn’t mean we let everything slide.

We can hold the boundary and still hold the child.

You can say:

“I won’t let you hit me. But I can see you’re really angry. I’m here.”

That teaches something much bigger than obedience.

It teaches your child:

“My feelings don’t scare my parent.”
“I can be upset and still be loved.”
“Someone can stop my behaviour without rejecting me.”

The next time your child’s behaviour gets under your skin, try changing just one question:

Instead of “How do I make this stop?”

ask yourself:

“What is my child needing from me right now?”

You may be surprised by what changes when you look underneath the behaviour. ❤️

Save this. You’ll need it on a difficult parenting day.
And send it to someone who is raising a little human, too. 🤍

“Don’t hold your baby too much.”

It’s one of the first pieces of advice many new mothers hear.

So every time your baby cries…
You hesitate.

“Should I pick them up?”
“Am I creating a bad habit?”
“What if they never learn to sleep on their own?”

And before you know it, you’re parenting from fear instead of confidence.

But here’s what I wish every new mother knew…

During the fourth trimester, your baby isn’t manipulating you.

They’re looking for the one place that has always felt safe:
You.

Your heartbeat.
Your warmth.
Your smell.
Your arms.

Comfort isn’t a bad habit.

It’s how babies learn that the world is safe.

🤍 The goal isn’t to comfort your baby less.

The goal is to understand what’s normal, so you can stop questioning every decision and start enjoying your baby without guilt.

If you’re constantly wondering…
“Am I doing this right?”

My Complete Sleep Survival Guide was created for this exact stage.

Inside, I help you understand:
✨ What’s biologically normal.
✨ Which “sleep rules” you can stop worrying about.
✨ How to support your baby’s sleep without carrying unnecessary guilt.

💜 Comment SLEEP and I’ll send you the details.

The Fourth Trimester | Episode 3

Save this for the night when someone tells you you’re “spoiling” your baby. One day, you’ll be glad you trusted your instincts. 🤍

Nobody prepares you for the version of you that motherhood creates.

Everyone celebrates the baby.

Very few prepare the mother.

If this season feels heavier than you expected, you’re not failing.

You’re becoming.

🤍 The Fourth Trimester | Episode 2

Save this for the days you need the reminder.

Monsoons are here, and while they bring so much joy, they also bring unwanted omosquitoes. As a mom, protecting Samrath from mosquito bites is something I never overlook before he heads out to play. 🌿💚

We’ve started using these mosquito repellent patches from FirstCry, and they’ve become a must-have in our bag. They’re easy to use, have a pleasant fragrance, and provide long-lasting protection, so Samrath can enjoy his outdoor playtime with greater peace of mind.

What I love most is how compact and travel-friendly they are. Whether we’re heading to the park, travelling, or simply spending time outdoors, I just carry a few patches along and we’re good to go.

If you’re stocking up on monsoon essentials for your little one, don’t forget to use my code DhanpreetHSJ26 to get 42% OFF sitewide on FirstCry.

Stay safe, enjoy the rains, and let the little ones play freely! ☔💛

Your baby’s sleep is not grading your parenting.

Somewhere along the way, many of us started believing:

“My baby wakes often because I’m doing something wrong.”

So we question everything.

🤍 Should I have fed differently?
🤍 Am I holding my baby too much?
🤍 Have I created bad habits?
🤍 Why does everyone else’s baby seem to sleep better?

But here’s the truth:

Frequent waking is normal in the early months.

Your baby isn’t waking because you’ve failed.
They’re waking because they’re a newborn.

Please don’t measure your worth by the number of times your baby wakes at night.

You don’t need to “win” at newborn sleep.

You need support.
You need compassion.
And you need someone to remind you that you’re doing far better than you think.

💛 Welcome to The Fourth Trimester – Series #1, where we’ll talk about the truths no one tells new mothers.

If this brought you even a little relief, save it for the nights when self-doubt feels louder than hope.

👇 Tell me honestly…
How many times have you blamed yourself for your baby’s sleep?

The world sees what mothers do.

The packed lunch.
The doctor’s appointments.
The clean uniforms.
The birthday gifts.
The bedtime stories.

What it doesn’t see is everything a mother carries in her mind.

The dates she remembers.
The needs she anticipates.
The worries she hides.
The mental checklist that never truly switches off.

And perhaps that’s why motherhood can feel so exhausting.

Not because mothers do too little appreciation-worthy work.

But because so much of their work is invisible.

So today, if there’s a mother in your life, remind her that you notice.

Not just what she does.

But everything she carries.

💛 To every mother who remembers everything so everyone else doesn’t have to:

We see you.
We appreciate you.
And you matter too.

Tag a mother who deserves to feel seen today. 🌼

Mothers rarely struggle to spend on their children.

The struggle is believing they deserve the same care themselves.

This is your reminder that supporting yourself is not selfish. It’s necessary. 💛

What is one thing you’ve been postponing for yourself?
