Went to a salsa dancing social tonight for the first time in years. It really reminded me so much of that young and free Paris I used to be! The me who would spend a whole month in Colombia just because I can. Learning Spanish, Salsa dancing, meeting people from all over the world in Hostels.

Had an idea and just went for it! 🎬

I’ve been touring with 2:22 for 6 months now and I thought maybe people would like to know what it’s like to be a DSM on the road! Plus I had so much fun putting this reel together! We’re in Tunbridge Wells this week so I’m actually commuting from home every day. But maybe I’ll do another one later when we’re outside of London area!

I hate 2025.
.
Yes I said it. I rarely hate anything. There are things that I don’t like but hate is a strong word, it takes a lot for me to hate something. But I hate 2025. It’s not even November yet and I cannot wait for it to be over. I’ll skip thanksgiving and my birthday and Christmas, three of my favorite days of the year, if we can just get to 2026 already.
.
Nothing has gone my way in 2025. From day 1. Getting dumped. Had a stroke. All kinds of health problems. Physical pains. Too many times ending up an A&E. Too many jabs to get blood drawn. Too many panic attacks. And then a canceled train and a rainy day like today can just be the last straw that completely breaks me, leading to this angry post. Funny how you gone through a stroke without crying and a canceled train and a rainy day like today can make you bawl like a baby in a strange part of the city, just want to scream and smash some glass to the wall.
.
And guess what, happy world stroke day guys! And if you missed it, yes I had a stroke earlier this year. It’s like a ghost that lives in my body now that haunts me everyday, reminding me that my life will never be the same again. I’m still learning how to co-exist with him. We fight all the time and I get frustrated. But little by little everyday eh.
.
But I do have to say, there are two good things that happened to me this year. Probably the only good things. One is called Tambo and Bones. And the other 2:22 A Ghost Story. Despite all the frustration and pain, I’m grateful for these two! I don’t know where I would be without them. Probably a mental hospital if I’m honest.
.
Last but not least, swipe to see a video of mom catching the exact moment of my stroke on camera by accident. This is a warning to all of you reading this post. Take care of your health now or you’ll end up like me. Stroke happens to young people too!!!
.
That’s all. Thats my ranting of the day, the week, the month, and maybe the year.
Please come sooner 2026. I need this to be over

It’s already 2024 before I can do a 2023 recap… 2023 went by sooooo fast. I don’t even know where to begin to summarize this year. It felt like a year of celebration. Celebrating family, friends, wedding, ending something old and starting something new, and that I got my Global visa!! Now I’m just waltzing into my 30s with 2024. Can’t wait to see what it’s brings!

It’s never easy to summarize a year with one word, especially with a year like 2021. I’ve trusted people who I thought were my friends, fell in love with someone that didn’t return the love, and had unexpected /unpleasant health issues. But I also gained valuable friendship with great people, learned how to deal with my anxiety and panic attacks, and had found myself a spot in the world of theatre! Despite all the ups and downs, I’m grateful for every challenge I faced and every achievement I made. I’m ensutheastic about life more than ever! 🙋🏼‍♀️
