I used to consider myself fairly able.. not anymore.. I am posting this to make all other peri menopausal/menopausal women feel better.

- yesterday I went into the office and lost my keyboard. Yes lost it. Nobody can find it, it’s vanished. It’s not even small. It’s gone. Have I eaten it??
- today I met a friend for a dog walk. I arrived and called to say, am here. We spent the next 15 mins thinking we were in different car parks, checking our maps, I nearly drove to the next car park to find her. She was parked behind me. 😵‍💫
- we lightly laughed it off. Layla (the dog) did her deed and I cleared it up. 2 mins later half the poo fell out. The bag had split.
- we sat down for a chat. We left and I forgot the poo bag… (personally hate it when I see left behind poo bags). I had carried for for a bloody hour too. I had totally forgotten I had it.
- Layla relieved herself again. I had no poo bags. Had forgotten to fill them up. (I hate it when people leave their dogs poo behind).

This is a life in the day of a women loosing her hormones aka identify

The best (most awful) was last week when I left for the airport. I told the girls, pls leave the house for 5 mins so I can think and check I’ve got everything. They didn’t. We left. Got to airport and realised had left my computer at my moms. The plane was delayed by an hour giving my amazing parents time to drive all the way to the airport to pass it as they drove past and drive all the way back. They must have been shattered 🤪🥲. I felt awful for putting them out so much.

I haven’t bought sunglasses that cost more than £20 as I seem to lose them all the time.. is there a skill to not losing them? How do other people do it?

Anyway, am 50 and bored of cutting around in cheap sunglasses so invested in a pair at the airport.

Now wondering if that was very foolish. Bets on by @parischilton
