POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
In 2014, I was just a kid skating all over Detroit with a bunch of friends, looking for something to chase.

One night, my friend Luke let me use his camera.

I had no idea it would change my life.

After that summer, I went back to college with no goals or aspirations. I just wanted to party like the movies.

Then one night at the bar, I ran into the Director of Media at my university. Somehow, I talked my way into a job.

That year I was going through a tough break up and let my grades slip. At the same time my university didn’t have a film program, so I had to make a decision…

I decided to dropped out.

My dad was a teacher and the first person in his family to get a degree so naturally, I felt like a failure.

After some self reflecting and soul searching, two of my friends and I decided to move 2,000 miles away with $500 each in our pockets and no jobs.

Arizona gave me the freedom I needed to lock in.

Over the next five years, I started stacking freelance work.

I took every gig I could get. Sports. Events. Weddings. Concerts. Corporate work. Whatever put a camera in my hands.

The hustle never stopped. And the world gave me plenty of reasons to quit.

I didn’t have the degree. I didn’t have the traditional path. I didn’t have someone handing me opportunities.

So I had to create my own.

I learned. I adapted. I kept showing up.

Then in 2021, I got my big break.

After five years of putting in the work, I landed my first big corporate creative job in Detroit.

I was finally getting a chance to do the thing I had been chasing since that night Luke handed me his camera.

And looking back, the funny thing is I never really had a plan.

I just kept saying yes.

Today, I find myself doing things that kid with the camera in 2014 never could have imagined.

I’m a leader in an industry I had no degree in and no traditional path into.

I didn’t have the credentials.

I didn’t have the connections.

I didn’t have a plan.

But I had a camera.

Popped out at @vintagefestdetroit with @dirtbagvault 🏄‍♂️

Tony and I have known each other for over 10 years and have been trying to shoot for a while now. This event was the perfect start to a long partnership.

Not only did we create a movie, but I was able to network and meet a ton of people in the vintage space.

Huge shoutout to @vintagefestdetroit for throwing a banger. Can’t wait for the next event. 🏄‍♂️

Frames from our @generalmotors Supplier of The Year video celebrating Ideal Contracting. The goal was to craft a narrative that not only documented this prestigious achievement but also reinforced the company’s brand as a trusted leader in the industry.

Frank Venegas, Chairman and CEO of the Ideal Group has been recognized as one of Detroit’s 500 most prominent business leaders.

Frank has made an enormous impact on people throughout his career, with a strong focus of that impact being in southwest Detroit. “He was one of the early ones to invest in the community and is one of the few that continues to give back, and it’s because he hasn’t forgotten where he came from,” said Angie Reyes, Executive Director of the Detroit Hispanic Development Corporation.

The final video became a high-impact visual asset used for both internal recognition and strategic brand positioning, showcasing Ideal Contracting’s commitment to excellence and innovation. taken in Detroit, Michigan by @parisparkpictures

Frames from our @uofmichigan x Ideal Contracting Scoreboard Project

We were proud to capture the transformation of Michigan Stadium as Ideal Contracting took on the massive University of Michigan Scoreboard Replacement Project. This $41M upgrade brought brand-new, state-of-the-art video boards—each measuring 152 ft by 55 ft—making them some of the largest in college football.

From deep foundation caissons and towering steel columns to the final breathtaking reveal, every step of this project was a masterclass in precision, coordination, and craftsmanship. Ideal Contracting’s team worked through tight offseason deadlines to deliver not just bigger screens, but a better game day—complete with upgraded audio systems, enhanced production facilities, and improved fan access.

📸 Our lens was there to document the build, from the first beam raised to the last bolt tightened. The result? A stadium experience that’s bigger, brighter, and better than ever for Wolverine Nation.
