Once upon a summer, I met this girl at work who I thought was too good to be true. After making a complete and utter fool of myself, I somehow managed to convince her to give me a chance.

What started with my phone number written on napkin with a fresh cookie wrapped inside has turned into the greatest love story I ever could have imagined.

Happy 8 years of marriage, and here’s to 80 more!🥂

Long Caption Warning-
THIS WOMAN!! You guys, I can’t even begin to explain the magnitude of pride she brings me. This run has always been special to her and her entire family. I have tried to make an effort to be part of it every year so that she can still feel close to it.

But this year, this TOTAL BOSS OF A MOM, decided that she needed to get in there and do the 5k. She is rock at home already. She keeps these two beautiful girls of ours full-time, cooks amazing dinners, and helps keep our lives organized. But she decided she could take on training for a race that she has never run before.

I don’t think words can adequately explain what this woman has done, but more importantly, how proud I am.

I’m always proud to be her husband, but today it’s overflowing. Find yourself someone like her and you won’t be disappointed.
