This has been over 3 years in the making and I am so thankful to finally have this new single released.

After celebrating the song release Friday, playing my first show in a long time, and soaking in the birthday weekend with great people surrounding me, I just wanted to take a second to say thank you.

I am so beyond grateful to each and every single person who took part in the creative process behind this record. Big thanks to @mylesjasnowskimusic who inspired the initial riff in its infancy which morphed and changed numerous times but still held true to its foundation. Special thanks to @parkerdylanj who produced the record and went back and forth for years with me finessing little things and making sure this came out exactly how we both envisioned it. Thank you @gozachgo who helped me with cowriting at some of the darkest times in my life to really put something on paper that meant something to me and that I hope can be universally relatable. This song helped me get out some deep thoughts that had consumed me and truly was a creative release of energy that had built up for years. Thank you to my amazing band, @mylesjasnowskimusic, @jacob_sorensen, and @sirjonathanwilliam who did the studio session work with me to lay down the foundation, the soul to this song. They truly are the most talented band anyone could ask for. Thank you to all of my friends and coworkers that came in to record gang/choir vocals @haleysudbeck, @chrisholt31 , @kafelewilliams, @kethro, @gozachgo, @victoriaortegamusic, @justinianzheng (honorable mention because I know you wanted to be there so badly @emilybrown347, @r.e.schenkel). Thank you to my beautiful daughter Sloan Lane who has continued to inspire me every day, push me to never give up, to keep my head up and to keep grinding for her no matter what while also staying true to who I am knowing that one day, I will want her to do the same.

This project took a long time. Getting myself to a point where I wanted to even put out new music took time. My energy had been stifled for years, time taken away, and I needed to find myself again. But I’m back and feeling better than ever. I’m excited to see what else is in store… :) by @parkerdylanj

It's been a busy month trying to stay on top of projects/deadlines. Studio hours during the days and editing from home at nights. Happy to have this problem though 🔈🎶

Little throwback to working on dat bass tone for "Free" with @thefeyband. Who knew a Sub37 takes two people to operate? I sure didn't.

Man this was a hell of an album to tackle. Zach and the crew really brought the heat and told me to try and contain it lol. It really pushed the limits of my mixing skills.

This album was 2 years in the making and I was honored to jump in and help bring it across the finish line with them.

Covid has been a real bitch to artists everywhere. But artists have still been crawling through the mud and coming out stronger on the other side. Go give these dudes some support! You won't regret the listening experience.

Cheers guys! 🍻🎉👊
