now that i've slept for two days, i can officially declare leg 1 of the mega-monsters tour completed! this rig was absolutely banging and i'm proud to be a part of the team that got the damn thing in the air everyday. like all tours it had its ups and downs but i'd follow these hittin-ass bastards into battle any day and can't wait for august.

huge shout out to @jrlxinc for trusting me with their gear and their absolutely immaculate prep on this one. doing the homework is the only thing that makes getting a rig this size up every morning even remotely possible, and y'all do it WELL.

onward to festival season!

One week til the last Secret Shop 😭😭😭😭😭😭

When @therealarvol and I came up with the idea, neither of us thought we'd be doing "shows" like this for very long.

24 streams later, here we are.

I think I speak for a lot of people when I say this last year hasn't exactly gone as planned, but I'm so grateful to Arvol, Adam, Robin, Bryan and everyone else involved with this project. Week-in, week-out (for the most part) they turned up at the warehouse for $0, out of their sheer passion for music and live production, and I couldn't have asked for a better team to rip some "shows" with.

This project, for what it is, has been basically the only thing keeping me sane/sharp(ish) this last year, and while I'm sad to send it off, it's only ending because the events industry is finally starting to see the light at the end of this tunnel, at least for the outdoor event season. I absolutely cannot wait for a return to normalcy for this business and these people that I love so much.

So anyway, we're doing the last one of these on Toucan's FB/Twitch channel next Friday at 8, come check it out (and push buttons on the rig) before it all goes out on some real shows. taken in Toucan Productions by @parkershore
