2026 Astell&Kern SP4000T / DAP Inspired by the explosive release of concentrated energy from a single point, the SP4000T translates the essence of analog sound into a sculptural industrial design language. By incorporating the industry’s first Quad Real Tube configuration into a Digital Audio Player, the SP4000T delivers an authentic analog listening experience beyond the boundaries of conventional digital audio. This philosophy is carried through every aspect of its industrial design. Sculpted surfaces, precise detailing, and the iconic volume wheel work together to express tension, precision, and a tactile user experience. #digitalaudioplayer #dapdesign #designdetails #production #industrialdesign by @parkingyu_

2025 / Astell&Kern SP4000 DAP Design SP4000 stands at the pinnacle of Astell&Kern’s flagship A&ultima line. Inspired by light piercing through darkness, the energy of the rotating volume wheel is visualized as fragments breaking through solid mass. Sharp edges, restrained details, and geometric structures convey concentrated power and tension. The contrast and structural depth of intersecting surfaces translate high-performance audio into visual form, while the precisely engineered volume wheel creates a direct, tactile connection between the user and the sound. #designobject #productaesthetics #industrialform #designphilosophy #objectdesign by @parkingyu_
2025 / Astell&Kern SP4000 DAP Design SP4000 is the flagship model of Astell&Kern’s Ultima line, designed to balance absolute performance with refined design. The segmented structure around the volume wheel conveys the dynamic motion of cutting through solid mass, expressing power and presence. The recessed wheel and converging facets enhance usability, balance, and structural solidity. PVD-coated silver ceramic surfaces and precision-engraved patterns define SP4000’s distinct identity. With a larger 6-inch display and intuitive interface, SP4000 transcends a digital audio player to become a unified expression of form, function, and performance. #productdesign #industrialdesign #designconcept #designstory #formandfunction by @parkingyu_

Wooden Toy (2022) / Toy design / Floatplane / Object / WIP Building a hand-crafted wooden toy needs a lot of effort compared to mass-produced toys. But the caring endeavor creates an incomparable value for the product. This wooden toy holds the concept of better promoting such emotional value. The wood toy series is a toy for kids that is made by their parents. We thought of kids growing up with the memory of their parents with the special cherishable gift. Compared to the existing wooden toy, the product has a design aesthetic suitable for all ages and has a soft and warm emotional value that can be gifted to kids. 2019 / LEAF Chair / Furniture design / Amenity Chair This is a bowl chair design inspired by the lines of nature. The design shape of the Flow Chair is a design that applies the natural curve line of a flower. Unlike existing bowl chairs, it is an amenity chair that provides a more comfortable feeling of seating by receiving additional elasticity by dividing the position of the backrest and armrest. by @parkingyu_
