A rare piece of American studio furniture.

A sculptural rocking chair by New Mexico master craftsman Brother Bart Wolf, created in the spirit of legendary woodworker Sam Maloof.

For 25 years, Brother Bart devoted his craft to woodworking, creating commissioned pieces for churches and chapels throughout the Southwest and beyond. His work can still be found in sacred spaces across New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Utah, and other states.

Hand-carved from English walnut, this chair is a beautiful example of his craftsmanship which was organic, sculptural, and meant to be lived with. In pristine, museum-quality condition.

For collectors of American craft, New Mexico furniture, and one-of-a-kind design, this is a particularly special piece.

Maloof originals regularly command $20,000–$45,000+ at major auction houses.

Available for $6,500.

Sometimes all it takes is a few thoughtfully chosen pieces to make a corner feel collected instead of decorated.
