我真係太喜歡日本嘢，去到曼谷都係想食日本嘢，唔想食曼谷果啲整色整水懶花巧嘅Omakase，不如直接攻頂，反正曼谷Suahi Saito 平香港人頭成千蚊，點解唔食？ 好好彩，今晚係料理長喺我哋板前，係嚟自神奈川日本人，但好似泰國人😂 成晚都好正！ メヌケ、小肌 、赤身漬け、アオリイカ、縞海老 、タカベ都好出色，吞拿魚做咗五日熟成，而ウニ就用希海極上雲丹，真係甜到盡頭！ I am honestly such a fan of Japanese food that even when I’m in Bangkok, it’s all I want to eat. I didn’t want to bother with those “style-over-substance” or overly gimmicky Omakase spots in Bangkok. I figured, why not just go straight to the top? After all, Sushi Saito Bangkok is about $1,000 HKD cheaper per person than the Hong Kong branch—it’s a total no-brainer! We were incredibly lucky tonight because the Head Chef was right in front of us at the counter. He’s Japanese, originally from Kanagawa, though he honestly looks a bit Thai! 😂 The entire evening was fantastic! The Menuke (Rockfish), Kohada (Gizzard Shad), Akami Zuke (Marinated Lean Tuna), Aori Ika (Bigfin Reef Squid), Shima Ebi (Striped Shrimp), and Takabe (Yellowstriped Butterfish) were all outstanding. The tuna had been aged for five days, and for the Uni, they used “Nozomi Gokujo” (Extra Premium) sea urchin—it was the absolute pinnacle of sweetness!
