Incredible pictures from the calm before the storm at Artifacts by @andyisyu . It’s been one week since my first ever glass show Artifacts at parlay central @parlayphl and my heart is filled with gratitude. Thank you everyone for coming by, enjoying the work and immersing yourselves in the glass and projection mapping done by @whos_boro . Couldn’t be more happy with how well he did and how the vision came to reality. Every little detail was perfect and it truly is invigorating looking to the future with new ideas I came up with along the process of putting this all together. I truly put my heart and soul into every aspect of this and I seriously couldn’t be happier with how everything went. Big thanks to @kindaglass for creating such an amazing event and allowing us to do our thing on stage at ukie club, without him none of this would have been possible. Also ultimate gratitude to my brothers @shiftn.shapes and @whos_boro for also making this possible and all collaborators involved. Gonna keep the train rolling of documenting and posting all the pieces from the show so be on the lookout. by @parlayphl

From every artist and host to the smallest of our supporters, thank you all for coming and contributing. 🙏🙏🙏. Be sure to thank all the show hosts, hosting a show is a huge undertaking and it’s what facilitates involving so many talented artists. This big boy is a Zoomorphic Rhyton and it holds 52oz of liquid!

It marks the beginning of a bigger series between @2_stroke_glass and I, which investigates the historic significance of objects used at the dining table.

Social gathering around food and drink is a human experience and we wanted to bring back elaborate dining objects to evoke intention around rituals in sharing and passing beautiful objects to each other.

With @2_stroke_glass ‘s signature Gillnet pattern and my fascination with sculpting, we wanted to start with a statement piece that also works as a canvas.

This piece is on view today at the Relics show hosted by @heady_hoarders for @parylay !! Come out, see yall soon :) taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @parlayphl

I sat down with the founder of #KrushmoreBBQ to talk about the work we’re doing at As I Plant This Seed. What I respect most is that their support didn’t stop after one BBQ. For the SECOND YEAR IN A ROW, they chose to give back to AIPTS. They built something that brings people together, then used it to invest in the young people and families we serve. That’s what community is supposed to look like. 💪🏾🌱
.
Every dollar that comes into AIPTS helps us keep pouring into the kids and families we serve. It helps us put mentors in front of young people, give them a safe place at @thetreehouseaipts , connect families to support, and keep creating opportunities that some of our kids might not have access to otherwise. This work takes people who understand that showing up for the community has to continue after the event is over.
.
To my brother @germlion and the whole team behind Krushmore BBQ: THANK YOU. Thank you for using what you built to help us build something for the next generation. That’s how you plant seeds that keep growing. 🔥🙏🏾

“L’immagine riflessa”

This is the best representation of what I love making most in glass. A self portrait if you will. Spent the better part of a month carefully working on this one and after many sessions it’s finally done. It’s got plenty of tasty details to get lost in, definitely my most laborious solo to date.

This piece will be on display at “Parlay Central” 9/19

See you there!

Giving back has always been central to the Krushmore BBQ. The whole event started simply as a way we could show some appreciation for our community and our supporters, but over the years has grown into a much bigger event. At its core it’s still about giving back and over the years we have funded wells in remote villages of India, helped provide nutrition support and vocational training to those in need in Philly and most recently we have been helping @asiplantthisseed provide much needed services for kids and teenagers in North Philly. We will be having both an auction and raffle going at the BBQ, and if you have a piece of art, gift certificate, or any other item that could help raise funds please contact me or @boro_brothers .

As I Plant This Seed

OUR MISSION
As I Plant This Seed exists to serve as a trusted community anchor that equips youth and families with the tools, support, and access they need to grow into healthy, confident, and capable adults. Through mentorship, mental health connection, education, and workforce experience, AIPTS cultivates the next generation of leaders from the ground up.

OUR VISION
We envision communities where every child and family has access to trusted support systems, opportunities for growth, and pathways to long-term success. AIPTS strives to be a central hub where community trust, mental wellness, education, and leadership development come together, creating strong individuals who strengthen families and transform neighborhoods.
As AIPTS continues to grow, we are evolving into an ecosystem organization that not only provides direct services, but also trains future professionals, supports partner organizations through fiscal sponsorship, and bridges communities to larger systems such as higher education and mental health care. by @parlayphl
