I think I have horror gamer envy today knowing many of you are delving deep into the new Hellraiser video game. So far seeing quite a lot of praise suggesting it is like a new sequel to the film series and very depraved and sordid with it. Are you playing? Have you opened the box?

Happy birthday to the man who has probably been the greatest influence upon my own creative works for most of my lifetime. Hope you are well and continuing to explore landscapes of imagination.

Time for this, finally. I know, I know.
And it’s on BBC2 before streaming, so weird.

Hello October. Time to get into some chilling, mysterious and possibly terrifying fiction. Starting the month with this anthology featuring many respected names.
What will you be reading and watching this spooktober month?

September reading-
Virtual Light - William Gibson

Another one from his brief transition from full cyberpunk to near future tech thrillers.
Had been on a shelf for a long time, decided to read it finally now and the concept of hi-tech net connected specs right now makes the story slightly more uneasy due to modern times and tech bro capitalism (note half the world increasingly banning Meta/Zuckerberg creepy pervert surveillance sunglasses)

Anyone read this? Have a favourite Gibson novel?
