Part Chimp have long made it their mission to shake speakers, fry brains and push volume to its limits. Underground legends of primal riffing, their fifth album Drool sees them sharpen that intensity into something even more focused and ferocious.

Blending crushing heaviness with a skewed sense of melody, Drool channels echoes of Melvins and Sonic Youth while carving out a sound that’s wholly their own — pulverising, chaotic and strangely life-affirming. Tracks like Back From The Dead, Drool and Up, With Notes showcase a band revelling in the alchemy of loud amps, strange tunings and raw instinct.

Recorded across London, New York and Somerset, the album captures the band at their most honest and unfiltered. Equal parts panic, chaos and catharsis, Part Chimp’s music thrives on the edge of collapse — shambolic, unpredictable and full of joy.

Drool is loud, enveloping and uncompromising — a blast of heavy music that hits as hard as it exhilarates.

Yeeeeehaaaw! Got some shows coming up! First off, we are honoured to be playing at @dubrekstudios birthday party in May! Jay and the crew are an inspiration! And we are also stoked to be playing alongside our old friends @pigsx7 in Newcastle. We will be playing in some of our favourite burgs along the way, so see you there!!!

We are 1 week in to the Drumhumstudio build down here in St.Leonards on Sea!! It’s going to be a not for profit rehearsal and gear storage space with recording coming soon. Super excited to be a part of the music scene down here in #hastingsandstleonards and to finally have a home for Partchimp to make a massive racket! It’s a big old project soooo, if anyone local wants to come and lend a hand, especially if you have a bit of building experience💪, please get in touch, we would be very grateful! taken in Ponswood Industrial Estate by @part_chimp_band
