This is Aboud, & he will turn 2 on Sunday. He was born in Ga-za in September 2023. His lovely parents lived in Turkey, but returned home just for his birth, to be with family. They have been stuck there ever since, facing endless displacement, avoiding bombs, & fighting to ward off starvation. Later this year Aboud's mother @basma_abu_aitah will give birth to her second child, this time while living in a tent. I'd be really grateful if anyone passing this post could consider donating to this beautiful family, using the link in my bio. Bit weird that my youngest child, Hex, doesn't have his own square here yet! Found outside the dentist with his brother as kittens in November, brought home in a cardboard box, here to stay forever & ever. He is made of whimsy, magic, & soup. by @part_goblin

It would feel more celebratory if I hadn't started to learn for such shitty reasons. And I couldn't imagine then that by day 600 of learning Arabic the gen0cide would *still* be happening. I can't speak, write or understand the language much better than I could 600 days ago, but at least I've been educated in a million different ways since then. الحرية لفلسطين by @part_goblin

This is Dr @anas.ibrahem1, who has been working across various hospitals in G/aza since before the Genocide began. He has shown us life as a Dr, as a victim of attempted ethnic cl3ansing, & as a citizen journalist. He now also uses donations to help distribute aid.
