y’all have probably seen that i’ve been talking up @audixmics over the past few weeks, and today is the day - i’m thrilled to announce that True Romance Sound has officially partnered with Audix Microphones! these kind folks have sent us so many unbelievable sounding mics, and have truly helped this east nashville based studio grow into something even more special. as an engineer and producer, i of course already knew about how great the the d6 and i5’s were - but i had no idea about their large diaphragm line. the SCX25A’s have especially blown my mind. from tracking vocals, to piano, to drum overheads, to a string section - they really can do it all. big thanks to @audixmics and to @partymelt for getting involved. thanks to @dustyvox for linking us together. and to anyone else seeing this - come make some music! by @partymelt
