POSTS STORIES REELS

One year full of new places, faces, lessons, and moments I’ll carry forever.

Forever proud for the courage to follow my dream
and to enjoy walking the long, scenic route.

I'm not yet where I want to be - but I can't believe how far I have come in the last 12 months.

Here's to another year of chasing dreams, because I refuse to settle for a life that doesn't feel like me.

What has volunteering changed for me?

I started traveling - and somewhere along the way, I got into volunteering.

And somehow… this became the way.

Why?

Because volunteering gave me more than just a place to stay or a way to travel cheaper.
It gave me access to real life - not the version you see on postcards.

To see more of the world, to actually experience it - not just pass through it.

Different cultures. Different mindsets. Different ways of living that make you question everything you thought was “normal.”

It taught me how little you actually need.
And how much you gain when you give something back.

For nearly 1.5 years, it’s been a cycle -
travel, volunteer, move, repeat.
And every time, I leave with more than I came with.

More perspective.
More stories.
More connection.
More moments that don’t fit into a highlight reel.

And yeah - it helped me live the dream that had been in my head for years.

Turns out, you don’t need the perfect plan.
You just need a reason to start.

It only takes one choice.
One decision to change everything.

On October 23, 2024, I made mine -
I left my comfort zone behind and stepped into the unknown. No plans - just a dream and a one way ticket.

Since that day, the world has opened up for me in ways I could never have imagined.
I’ve met people who left a mark on my heart,
seen places that shifted my perspective,
and found opportunities that changed the course of my life.

Every challenge, every adventure, every moment out there has shaped me into someone braver, freer, and more alive than ever before.

We only got one shot in life and the world is waiting.
Are you ready to take that chance?

Two years ago, I took a leap into the unknown without knowing where it would lead me. Somehow, that one decision led me to a life that feels more meaningful, more fulfilling, and happier than I ever imagined.

6 countries, countless memories, incredible people which I will never forget and experiences that have changed the way I see life.

I still don’t have it all figured out, and maybe that’s the beauty of it. Sometimes you just have to take the first step, believe in yourself, trust God, and see where life takes you. ❤️

Spending time here has expanded my perspective on our planet and deepened my understanding of the environment we’re all part of.

I’ve seen the consequences of human activity up close. I’ve learned more about what our oceans and wildlife are up against, and how much of it is caused by us.

And at the same time, I’ve had the privilege of being part of something that tries to protect what’s still here.

Watching turtles come ashore. Protecting their nests. Handling tiny hatchlings. Working through the night. Being tired, dirty, covered in sand - and still feeling incredibly grateful to be here.

I don’t know how much of a difference one person can make. But I know I’d rather spend my time learning, helping and being part of the solution than standing on the sidelines.

Thanks to @bubblesturtleconservation and the whole team for this experience and the chance to be part of this meaningful project.

Paradise with a purpose 🐢🌴

Tucked away on a remote corner of the Perhentian Islands, @bubblesturtleconservation has been working since 2004 to protect sea turtles and the marine environment they depend on.

From monitoring nesting turtles and safeguarding vulnerable nests to releasing hatchlings and educating visitors, every day contributes to the future of these incredible animals.

Since the project began, more than 170,000 hatchlings have been released into the ocean - each one another step towards protecting future sea turtle populations.

Whether you’re looking to join as an intern, volunteer, or simply stay as a guest at @bubblesresort you’ll experience far more than just a tropical island.

Come for paradise. Leave with a whole new appreciation for the ocean. 💙

What if your next holiday could take you to paradise - and give you the chance to witness something truly unforgettable? 🌊🐢

Tucked away in a remote corner of the Perhentian Islands, @bubblesturtleconservation & @bubblesresort is surrounded by crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, lush jungle, and the secluded beauty of Paradise Beach.

Whether you visit as a guest, join as an intern, or volunteer with the conservation team, you get to experience this incredible place and its breathtaking surroundings - with the unique chance to witness nesting mother turtles during nesting season. 🐢🌙

And if you’re looking for a more hands-on experience, you can get involved in real turtle conservation, learn about marine life, and support the work that helps protect these incredible animals.

A little piece of paradise where unforgettable experiences and conservation come together. 💙🌴

One month. Countless night patrols. Little sleep and memories I'll never forget.

Getting hands-on experience and making a direct impact in sea turtle conservation has been one of the most meaningful parts of my journey. Grateful for every sleepless night that came with a purpose and for all the people dedicating their time and effort to protect our planet.

The moment you stop caring about what other people think about your decisions is the moment you start living your own life.

Most people aren't held back by a lack of opportunity.

They're held back by the fear of being judged.

But remember:

Their fears are not your fears.
Their limits are not your limits.
Their life is not your life.

You only get one shot.

Don't let other people's opinions decide your story.

Idk I'd just call it living.
Living to the fullest is my hobby 🤷🏻‍♂️
Does that count?
