Howdy! I’m Pascal. I’m currently in Fort Lauderdale after years spent in NY, Boston, and DC.

Judging from my Instagram feed, it may come as a surprise to hear that I’ve been exploring #NationalParks (NP) for the better part of my adult life. It all started with a 4-month cross country road trip where I visited parks like Badlands, the Grand Canyon, Smoky Mountain, Shenandoah, Yosemite, Arches, and Yellowstone to name a few. I even ventured into the Everglades in the middle of August (big mistake). Since then I’ve made my way as far as Haleakala and weathered a hurricane in a tent in Acadia (another mistake).

Full confession: My love of the outdoors is inextricably intertwined with my love of guys who are outdoorsy. As a teenager, I’d find any excuse to visit my local @REI where I’d drool over the sales guys in their Tevas and @Patagonia. Looking back, this sounds kind of creepy but, hey, I didn’t even know I was #gay yet… and I was years away from meeting other #GayGuys who might also enjoy a hike, a canoe trip, or a few nights in a tent.

As a newly- minted Floridian, my outdoor adventures are mostly confined to the beach but I’d love to expand my repertoire so feel free to slide into my DMs if you’re in the area. Rock-climbing partners are especially welcome.

These pictures were taken on the road to or in #RockyMountainNationalPark, which I was fortunate to visit in the fall a few years ago.

Status: Single 🥰 (as of this post)

Park boundaries are… well, man made boundaries. The surrounding lands don’t become any less beautiful. So when you visit a NP, it’s worth to see what what else is around. For example, these are some sites around @rockynps - thanks NPS.gov for the suggestions:

- Arapahoe & Roosevelt National Forest, which borders much of RMNP with many recreational activities.

- 13 NP Sites in Colorado

- Colorado Parks & Wildlife (@coparkswildlife)
