Today is a big day. @lecoqsportif announces its RESET, and I’m proud to reveal that I am now serving as Chief Creative Officer. I fully appreciate the responsibility and the honor that come with this role. Of course, I will continue to lead REC with the same level of commitment. I carefully organize my schedule to give both roles the attention and dedication they deserve. I couldn’t imagine a better way to share this new chapter than through a video directed by @louisdemailly . Thank you Alex and Dan for your trust. Vernissage jeudi 8 octobre dès 18h chez Appendix, 1 cour de l’île Louviers Paris 75004 Quentin Euverte, responsable des Archives Yan Morvan et Stephan Mallavergne d’Ephemera dialogueront autour de l’œuvre humaniste de ce photographe. Yan Morvan (1954-2024) a longtemps travaillé comme photographe de guerre, parcourant le monde pour couvrir de nombreux conflits de la seconde moitié du XXe. Il a collaboré avec les plus grands journaux internationaux, reçu de nombreux prix pour son travail de photojournalisme. His selections include pieces tied to Yannick Noah’s 1983 Roland-Garros victory, among them archival shorts and a signed T-shirt, alongside the Wendon, Le Coq Sportif’s iconic running silhouette, revisited for the capsule while keeping its slim shape and timeless character. Monfort is the founder of REC, a Paris-based cultural foresight and strategy firm working across luxury, fashion and sport. He spent nearly a decade at Nike in consumer culture and innovation, and founded Ephemera, a Paris library of rare fashion documents. In 2026 he joined Le Coq Sportif, the French sportswear brand founded in 1882, as CCO.
