What an incredible championship season our Paschal Lady Panthers had! Our girls proudly represented Paschal at the UIL 5A State Championships, competing against the fastest swimmers in Texas and making history for our program.

Regional Silver Medalist Victoria Chandler and Regional Bronze Medalist Savannah Smith competed in the 50 Freestyle and 100 Freestyle, finishing 18th and 21st in the state prelims β€” an outstanding accomplishment on Texas’ biggest stage.

They later teamed up with Valeria Venegas and Abigail Butcher in the 200 Freestyle Relay, where the relay placed 19th in the state.

Qualifying this relay for state was a goal the team worked toward all season, and their dedication, sacrifice, and hard work paid off. Even more special, this was the largest group of Paschal girls to qualify for state in over 12 years.

I could not be more proud of the grit, commitment, and heart these young women showed all season long. They represented Paschal with excellence, determination, and Panther pride every step of the way.

So proud of you girls:

πŸ’™ Victoria Chandler (Senior)
πŸ’™ Savannah Smith (Senior)
πŸ’™ Valeria Venegas (Senior)
πŸ’™ Abigail Butcher (Sophomore)

You’ve left your mark on this program and were a great inspiration to our underclassman ladies. Thank you Victoria crews for the pictures.

The season of 2025-2026 had its highs and lows, but what this team accomplished at the end of it will forever be part of Paschal history and FWISD History. It has been a historic season. There are moments we will always remember, and I will always be proud of what this group achieved.

The Paschal Boys rose to the occasion and represented Paschal and Fort Worth with pride at the 5A State Championships.

Historic State Performances

πŸ’₯ 200 Medley Relay – 6th in the State with a NEW school record of 1:36.53
Led by Jackson Beck, Harrison Purcell, Daniel Wilke, and junior Auggie East.

πŸ₯‰ Jackson Beck (Senior) – 3rd place in BOTH the 200 Free (1:39.93) and 100 Free (45.69)
Setting NEW school records and bringing home TWO bronze medals

πŸ₯ˆ Harrison Purcell (Senior) – 2nd place in the 100 Breaststroke with a NEW school record of 56.36
Bringing home the silver medal

πŸ’ͺ Auggie East (Junior) – 14th in the 100 Freestyle with a 48.17

πŸ”₯ 200 Free Relay – 6th in the State
Harrison Purcell, Daniel Zimpelman, Auggie East, and Jackson Beck

As a team, Paschal finished TOP 10 IN THE STATE, placing 8th overall out of 92 teams β€” an incredible leap from 52nd place last season.

That’s not luck.
That’s growth.
That’s progress.
That’s culture.

To every swimmer who stepped on that deck, battled through adversity, trusted the process, and competed with heart: you made history.

We are incredibly proud of this team and what was accomplished.

The foundation has been built.
The standard has been raised.
This team will always be remember.

Pooling together the accolades πŸ…

At the regional finals, the Paschal Boys team became two-time Regional champions for the first time in program history, and the first FWISD to do so since Southwest High School in the mid-90s.

Jackson Beck and Harrison Purcell each qualified for state in two individual events and helped lead the boys to wins in two relays, with two relay teams advancingβ€”including a school-record performance. Relay swimmers advancing to state are Jackson Beck, Harrison Purcell, August East, Daniel Wilke, and Daniel Zimpelman. On the girls’ side, the 200 Freestyle Relay of Victoria Chandler, Abigail Butcher, Valeria Venegas, and Savannah Smith is headed to state, with Victoria Chandler also qualifying individually in the 100 Free.

We are wishing our @paschal_aquatics_ the best of luck at the UIL State Meet in Austin! πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈπŸ†

At the regional finals, our Paschal boys became TWO-TIME Regional Champions β€” a first time in program history! The last FWISD swim team to do this was Southwest High School back in the mid-1990s.

πŸ”₯ Led by Jackson Beck and Harrison Purcell, who each qualified for state in TWO individual events and won one to punch their ticket to Austin. August East made call-ups list and will go to state in the 100 free.
πŸ’₯ The boys won 2 of 3 relays, with two relays advancing to state, including one that broke a school record by over 2 seconds. On those relays we had Jackson Beck, Harrison Purcell, August East, Daniel Wilke, and Daniel Zimpelman.

πŸš€ On the girls’ side, the 200 Freestyle Relay placed 2nd and is headed to State:
Victoria Chandler, Abigail Butcher, Valeria Venegas & Savannah Smith

✨ Individual qualifiers for Girls:
β€’ Savannah Smith - 3rd 50 free
Victoria Chandler – 2nd, 100 Free

What a weekend. What a team. We. Have 9 people going to state with 2 relay alternates. Thanks r5imagery for capturing the special moments.

➑️ Next stop: Austin. πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈπŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸ”₯
