Traveling has been one of my favorite things to do but after 2024, I didn’t give myself the chance to travel like I did both in 2023 & 2024. I’ve had to cancel all travel plans since 2025 till date for personal reasons but I think Tinubu & I should do better.

I have so many memories saved in my phone storage. Hopefully, I’m courageous enough to share by @paschandre

I went for @clevabanking 3 years anniversary and it was a good one. I’ve been there with them from the beginning and I’m so proud of what they’ve built. This is not a promotion post rather a testimonial from a satisfied customer.

This is what I talk about building value for customers while achieving your business goals.

Two inputs, I spoke about during the first anniversary has been built into the platform and it has made both mine and so many other customers feel a lot more comfortable.

Customers are always right, in matters of taste. Being customer obsessed doesn’t mean letting them disrespect your team.

Acknowledge the customer’s frustration, build a process that helps reduce their frustrations and manage their expectations.

Life is a school that we have to learn throughout until the day we graduate from this life so I’ve decided that I will continue to learn, unlearn and relearn as many things as I can imagine. My brother once said your mind is a blank canvas that we could draw anything we like on it.

Today. I’m reflecting on the fact that I will do everything I said I will do, it might not be today, tomorrow or this year but I promise you, I’m going to do it and I will win.

Finding product market fit is a very challenging phase that needs all the attention, open mindedness and learning you can think of. You don’t want to be rigid with how you approach finding PMF, everything you do should be centered around the people experiencing the problem you’re solving for. Don’t think revenue now, think about verifying the product solves a vital problem in the users’ everyday life. Is it something they can’t do without? Will they be willing to pay for it? Is there something that is missing from the product that could make them leave later? Why would they choose you over everyone else?

North Star Metric (NSM) is a very important product metric that guides and aligns the whole organization towards a common goal. If you get the NSM right and carry every stakeholder along, it will help drive the product and the expectations. Everything that needs to be done would have to answer the “How does this help contribute to our North Star Metric”

Also have in mind that your North Star Metric is iterative so it can be revisited and improved as you learn more from your customers, increase your values and business.

To manage different stakeholders, you have to understand what they expect, what they prioritize and how they prefer to work.

Don’t communicate like everyone is supposed to work for you, you have to win them over so that they share the same product objectives as you.
