Happy Black History Month!!!♥️🖤💚 I am proud to celebrate all the beautiful African Americans including my ancestors who have fought & sacrificed for equality for us! Their strong resilience is a testament to their faith. We still have more fighting to do to ensure our civil rights and liberties are not taken away! As the United States is currently undergoing so many changes in this new governmental administration to roll the U.S. back to the past, we must UNITE and focus on what’s really at stake!!! DEI and Civil Rights is NOT just about race but about marginalized groups (those with disabilities, veterans, women, minorities, etc…) being included fairly & considered in the workplace, business, housing, loan programs etc…

And those who oppose DEI and say it’s discriminatory against the majority race and reverse discrimination, ask yourself why this country needed DEI in the first place?! Because this country unfortunately was founded on racism and discrimination. It is sown into the very fabric of this nation and has never went away. And although we don’t have physical slavery anymore there is still socioeconomic racism and discrimination against many groups of people in the form of oppression, in various institutions and infrastructures that we live and work in!

Lastly, you can’t eradicate and eliminate racism by turning a blind eye to it. It is not going anywhere no matter how many laws that you revoke or departments you try to dismantle to make this country colorblind. The only way this country can REALLY start to heal is to recognize its wrong against marginalized groups and make this country fair and equal for US all‼️ As a leader and President that is your responsibility to the American people!
