So sorry to hear about Paul Bronfman’s passing. Paul was one of the most beautiful, generous, and determined people I know. He was also one of the strongest.

And yes, we disagreed about almost everything. And more than the fact I am a Habs Fan and he was a Leafs fan.

I first met Paul in the VCR home video industry days some 40 years ago. And we stayed friends. One night he needed a goalie on his pick-up hockey team and I stepped in. I would play goalie on and off with him for a few years. Since then he would call me Boom Boom.

Very sorry to hear Legendary Toronto designer Robert Dirstein's passing. Robert was world renowned, and his elegant designs were coveted world-wide including several royal houses. His designs and homes were featured several times in Architectural Digest and some on the cover.

We are lucky to have several pieces from Bob in our house. Bob was a generous, loving and caring friend.

Bob and his husband of over 35 years Robert Ardner hosted many charity events at their homes, including many for CANFAR.

Our condolences and love go to his husband and family.
