A tiny indie short film.
Written, directed, animated & voiced by me.
For no reason.

It started as a 20-second director’s piece I made for friends at @petrick.co

It felt like a trailer for something I’d actually want to watch — so I couldn’t stop.

Five months later, here we are.

G8 2025 х Petrick

В преддверии фестиваля @ggggggggfest студия @petrick.co сделала тизер-ролик. В нем авторы отразили многоголосие — сквозную тему фестиваля в 2025 году и показали 4 уникальные истории о творческом поиске: пластилиновый фрагмент о борьбе с собой в пустоте от @qshau, 2D рассказ о мастерстве в творчестве от @eldart.png, 3D стоп моушн боди хоррор про самопожертвование от @pasha_ho и 2D сюжет о поиске себя от Насти Таракановой и @khan_chi_chi. В конце все 4 истории, каждая из которых выполнена в индивидуальном стиле, мягко соединились в mixed media финале от @nvk_foxhide. Тизер-ролик создан совместно с музыкальной студией @sphere.so by neu.team, а общая режиссура выполнена @mishapetrick и @bovkouna.

It was my craziest creative experience ever with freaking-awesome-super-GODS of motion design to create this video and a bunch of courses based on it!

My main role was to model, texture and render a lot of characters. Shading and rendering some of the scenes.
I am also in the process of completing the course about my part!

My little jam session with real-time midi control inside #cinema4d

I don’t know what is the use of this shit.
I was interested in connecting external Python libraries to C4d, such as python-rtmidi. I used midi messages as triggers to copy and paste keyframes of the animation.

Model, rigging and animation are also mine.

This is the first time I made fully functional humanoid rig in #cinema4d from scratch.
It was a lot of fun to dive deeper into #c4d and #expresso to define the limits of cinema. I tried to do it according to all the rules of classical rigging. Looks like C4d is ready to serious rigging and animation.
