The trip to Serbia was a breath of fresh air after everything that’s piled up since the beginning of the year. I had an amazing time meeting up with friends, drinking rakija, eating pljeskavica, and just enjoying myself. At the end of November, I flew to Russia to attend one of the most important events in my life - the wedding of @katerinarozenkranz and Alexey.
I’ve been friends with Katya for more than 10 years now, and over time she has become one of the closest people in my life.
The journey from Cyprus to Vladivostok is definitely not a short one, but that didn’t stop me - true friendship knows no borders.
It was one of the most touching and beautiful celebrations I’ve ever experienced (which is probably why in so many photos I’m letting out a tough Siberian tear). taken in Vladivostok, Russia by @pashka100kg

Time to wrap things up and talk about the cost of this vacation (the most painful part for me).
Places visited: Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, Hiroshima, Tokyo, Fujikawaguchiko, Kamakura.
Walked over 170 km on foot. Ate, drank, smoked cigarettes, swore a bit, and absolutely admired the country.
Overall - yet another trip to Japan that was 100% worth it.
Flights: €3,000 (it was €3,700, but I used bonus miles)
Hotels: €3,600
Souvenirs & random stuff: €1,100
Transport: €1,750
7-Eleven: €1,200
Food: €2,600
Cash expenses: €1,100
Total: ~€14,350

Was it expensive? Probably.
Do I regret a single expense? Not at all.
And now it’s time to call a taxi and head back to my beloved Cyprus - really missed our cozy little island.

The final stop of this trip was Fujikawaguchiko - a small town at the foot of Mount Fuji with absolutely unreal views of this sacred mountain.
They say that seeing Fuji is a sign of good luck, and on this trip I saw it three times. Feels like a very good sign, especially at the beginning of the year.
Tomorrow is all about shopping - grabbing the last souvenirs and a few other things.
Thanks for sticking around despite the insane amount of photos and stories. And Japan… we’ll definitely see each other again.
(The post with the total trip cost will come later - I’ll also share the remaining photos there)
