Some trips stay with you long after you've come home. Our recent time in Angola was one of those.

It was a privilege to experience the country through two lenses: learning more about the incredible work of @thehalotrust to clear landmines, restore communities and create a safer future, while also working alongside our client @theultimatetravelcompany to help tell the story of a destination that is quietly emerging as one of Africa's most extraordinary places to visit.

From landscapes where wildlife is returning to land that is becoming safe again after decades of conflict, Angola is a powerful reminder that tourism can play a meaningful role in supporting conservation, livelihoods and long-term recovery when it's approached in the right way.

We're grateful to have been part of bringing this story to life, and to see it so beautifully captured in @thetimes by @harrietcompston whose writing perfectly reflects the optimism, resilience and extraordinary potential of Angola. Along the way, we met so many inspiring people doing incredible work - each playing their part and united by a shared ambition to help Angola realise its extraordinary future. We are incredibly grateful for their generosity and support throughout this amazing trip.

🌿 Countryside stays 🌿
A collection of beautiful places to stay across the English countryside and coastline, each with its own character, history and charm.

Perched on the cliffs of North Cornwall, just a few steps from the sea, Atlanta Trevone is a collection of five beautifully restored coastal homes that combine timeless character with thoughtful contemporary design. Originally built in 1899 and owned by the same Cornish family for generations, the Victorian property has been carefully reimagined by its current custodians, Jess and Ash, into one of Cornwall’s most distinctive places to stay.

From the spacious Atlanta House and Penthouse to the charming Net Loft, each home has its own unique character while sharing the same understated elegance. Neptune kitchens, wood-panelled interiors, ViSpring beds and carefully chosen antiques sit alongside modern comforts, creating warm, welcoming spaces that feel effortlessly luxurious and wonderfully relaxed.

Just a short walk from sandy beaches, hidden coves and the South West Coast Path, Atlanta Trevone is perfectly placed to experience the best of the Cornish coast. Whether it’s securing a table at one of Cornwall’s renowned restaurants or spending the day exploring the coastline, every stay is shaped by the owners’ local knowledge and thoughtful hospitality.

A truly special coastal retreat that captures the timeless charm of the Cornish coast 🌊 by @passaropublicity

Surrounded by centuries-old olive groves, woodland, pomegranate trees and lavender fields @ladarbia in Chianti is a beautifully restored 11th-century hamlet. Seventeen suites are spread across historic farmhouses, alongside two panoramic swimming pools and a restaurant.

We have loved working with Matteo and Gian Carlo of @studioprimatesta since their first project on the shores of Lake Orta, and it has been a real joy to see the journey from the start. Seeing the brothers work with such care, craft and dedication, always respecting the natural surroundings, has been fascinating. We still remember our first visit to the site two years ago, when they were painstakingly rebuilding the ancient walls, one stone at a time. It was a true labour of love.

What we love about La Darbia in Chianti is that it remains a working estate. It produces its own olive oil and honey from 40 beehives, home to more than two million bees 🐝 Beyond the beautiful design and exceptional food, it is rooted in agriculture and the preservation of a landscape that has remained largely unchanged since Roman times. That connection to the land is what makes it such a remarkable place to stay, and we feel very lucky to work with people who care so deeply about preserving it 🧡 by @passaropublicity

We are thrilled to be working with a very exciting new opening in Hampshire @the_candover

Set in the Candover Valley, just 90 minutes from London, this exceptional pub with rooms is run by a wonderful team who truly understand the art of generous hospitality (Banoffee Pie for breakfast anyone?)

The building has been beautifully restored by @hainesgaddgreaves and built by @finchatton with the ten bedrooms inspired by characters from Jane Austen, celebrating Hampshire’s connection to the writer.

In the kitchen, Head Chef Oli Abbott is championing a style of cooking that's rooted in quality ingredients, seasonal produce and a deep respect for the classics. As he said to us, he wants to cook ‘simple food really, really well’ - and that sounds pretty perfect to us!

A collection of beautiful places to stay across the English countryside, each with its own character, history and charm

Nestled in the heart of the New Forest National Park, Lime Wood is the perfect countryside escape. Surrounded by nature and just a short distance from the coast, this beautiful country house combines understated luxury with a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.

The 33-bedroom house was five years in the making and is the result of a remarkable collaboration of creative talent, creating a place that feels both elegant and effortlessly welcoming.

From its exceptional dining to its woodland spa, every detail has been thoughtfully designed to help guests slow down, unwind and reconnect with nature.

A truly special retreat in one of England’s most beautiful landscapes 🌿
