“Blurred Culture” - 11x14 Mixed Media

a lot of people who follow me are not aware that i also love to draw! this is a self portrait i’ve been working on for over a year now that explores a couple of topics. although i’m on my instagram detox for the summer, i redownloaded to share my piece with you all.

as a lebanese american woman, i often wonder what my life would have been like if i was born in lebanon rather than in the united states. more so, i wonder what life in the middle east would be like without unnecessary occupations and b0mbings.

i felt that this was important to share considering what is happening in the middle east today. i’m a proud middle eastern woman who will never stop talking about her country. ❤️🇱🇧

auditioning is soooo scary and i’ve also been guilty of not going to auditions because i was too scared. the truth is that you’re always going to feel some anxiety towards any audition. it’s about pushing through the scariness of it all and giving yourself a shot!
