Ten years ago today, my life was in wreckage. I was trapped in a cycle of addiction that blinded me to the pain I was causing the people I loved most. My family was suffering, and I was lost in a darkness I couldn’t navigate on my own.

Today, I celebrate 10 years sobriety from Alcohol.

Looking back, I know I didn’t walk this path alone. I am here because of the overwhelming grace of God, who pulled me out of the pit and gave me a second chance. He restored what was broken and provided the strength I lacked.

But the greatest manifestation of that grace has been my family.

To Lisa, Asher, Tehya and Jaelyn:
You are my "why." There were days when the road was steep, but your love was the light that kept me focused. Thank you for staying by my side, for your incredible forgiveness, and for believing in the man I could become even when I couldn't see him myself. Our home today is a miracle I never take for granted.

To those of you still in the struggle: Please know that you are not alone, and you are not beyond hope. Sometimes the first step is simply admitting we can't do it alone and leaning into a power greater than ourselves.

May this 10-year mark be a beacon for anyone seeking the light. Recovery is possible, restoration is real, and you are never walking alone. by @passion2purpose76
