🏀🇮🇩🇵🇭 FROM MEDAN TO MANILA: A BASKETBALL DEVELOPMENT JOURNEY

More than just basketball training. It’s about learning, experiencing new opportunities and growing as a player.

At 14 years old, Denzell Theja traveled from Medan, Indonesia to Manila, Philippines for a week of personalized basketball development with Coach Rob Labagala and Passion Sports Academy.

From individual skill work and strength training to team practices, tune-up games and watching live collegiate basketball, every experience was designed to help him learn and better understand the game.

We’re happy to share Denzell’s journey in our latest Kwentong Passion feature!

Thank you to Denzell and his family for trusting Passion Sports Academy.

🏀 ONE WEEK OF DEDICATED PLAYER DEVELOPMENT! 🇮🇩🇵🇭

Denzell Theja from Medan, Indonesia spent a week training with Coach roblabagala.

Our training focused on basketball fundamentals, shooting, ball handling, footwork, decision-making, film viewing and developing a better understanding of the game.

Beyond individual skills training, the program also included strength training, team practices with a high school basketball team, a tune-up game and the opportunity to watch live UAAP games.

The goal was not just to improve his skills, but to give him a complete basketball experience, learn from different levels of competition and develop a better understanding and approach to the game.

Thank you Denzell and family for trusting us and allowing us to be part of your basketball journey. Keep working, keep learning and most importantly keep enjoying the game!

Proud of our Passion Sports Elite Team for the growth, effort and togetherness they showed throughout the tournament. We may have fallen short of the championship but this journey proved how much these players have improved.

Special congratulations to Brandon Estabillo, Sean Martin and Kimlee Jalalon for making the Mythical 5.
